If I were Geno, I would use it for my clothes after practice.

It might be motivational for Geno and Petty to know the organization is still thinking about Fitzpatrick.

If they need that to get them motivated I really don't think they're equipped to lead an NFL franchise.

This sounds like a positive sign to me...Fitz won the locker room Election

Or else a ploy by management to avoid all out player revolt against having Smith lead the team hahaha

I think as a good gesture we should ship the locker to him with a note. "Thank you for the 2015 memories". Now, that's motivation.

I'm sure Chris Ivory and snacks lockers are there too. maybe they just didn't clean it yet. NY media wants this team to be dysfunctional so bad hahaha. they keep on trying though.

Wilk showing up to OTA was the ultimate slap in the face for the media after all the bullshit stories they created. Dude is rehabbing a broken leg and missing a voluntary work out ... but the media just sees a protest. sad

It means they know this is just a farce and Fitz is sitting out as long as it takes to avoid minicamp, OTA's and two-a-days early in camp without getting fined since he hasn't actually signed yet :p

Or lets look at it like they are telling Fitz negotiations are still serious and ongoing - if they clear it out it gets twisted by the media - Headlines read - Jets move on from Fitz by clearing out locker

In other words it means diddly squat

Yup. Fitz is a 10 yr vet and knows this offense inside and out, and has his primary WRs coming back. Not tons of reasons to be enduring the grueling side of football. Favre 'held out' every season until just before the seasons started. He HATED training camp. Maybe Fitz will play like Favre now!!!!

This is so pathetic. We are treating Ryan Fitzpatrick like he's a hall of famer who's been with us for ten years.

Okay. I'll use balderdash from now on.

I did use preposterous in an extended argument in 2014 tho, and more recently also- I believe with your buddy that you're alluding to, lol

take a page from the panthers: pull the contract offer off the table.
see how long it takes for him to wise up to the fact that no other team in the league is going to pay him double or triple the $3.5 million he got last year.
if he doesn't sign, we save the cap money for next year's signings, which may include mo, richardson, or even geno if he pans out this year.
