Better off trading down a few spots and getting more picks if there's a team who wants to move up to get the WR they covet.

Wouldn't be my first (or second) choice.

It's funny how we can go 3 months of draft season without hearing team specific rumors like this and then they all flood in the day before the draft. Hmmm. Seems legit.

A smoke screen. To get all those teams in twenties who want a WR to trade up

How are we "set"? Marshall is over 30... Decker has emerged as our slot guy.. we have nobody really on the other side of Marsh.. or nobody to replace Marsh once he's gone. Doctson would be a value pick IMO. Sure Marsh n Deck played well last year but i wouldn't say we are "set".. esp. since we run a spread O... we'll never have enough wideouts

I'm going to believe the Jets are taking BPA right down to the point that the BPA at 20 is a DL. Not sure what they do if that happens.

Hopefully the alternative to do so exists. It'd be nice to have the last really good DL prospect sitting alongside Lynch and Treadwell at 20. That's a wide enough array of talent that the Jets could likely get a good deal from somebody.

Doc or Coleman would be so dope.

If the Jets take Fuller, Hackenberg in round two, or Cook at 20, I'll know this FO is incompenet/ a joke.

I guess we might not be "all set" but compared to OT, ILB, OLB,CB and QB(I don't want Paxton) there isn't as much of a need.
We got over 2500 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns last season with Decker and Marshall. I think Enunwa is serviceable and hopefully we can expect more from Devin Smith next season. Doctson is definitely my favorite WR out of the group, I'd feel we took BPA if he's the guy. I can get on board with taking Treadwell/Doctson/Fuller and having an even better group next season but I might prefer defense at 20 depending who's on the board and really like the idea of trading down to the mid to late twenties and picking up an extra pick or two.

Doctson is my WR1 in this draft by a pretty far margin and in the Top18 of my bigboard; therefore alone I would love it, if he was the pick at #20 overall. He has good hands and amazing leaping ability. Other than Treadwell he has also shown the speed to separate from defensive backs.

I don't care about our current WRs when it comes to drafting players; we are finally a BPA team and I supect, Doctson will be at or near the top of our bigboard when we are drafting.

No, we won't be getting a wr at 20 but luckily the 4 teams after us probably will.

I could see it being Fuller or Coleman.

I'm not huge on Coleman though... I think he needs a lot of work on his routes and his hands aren't elite.

Fuller suits our offence, we need a guy who can take the top off the D.

I really like Treadwell and Doctson but they are simular players to Decker and Marshall.. We need a true burner!

I agree... probably looking to get someone to trade up to 18 or 19 for a WR to push an edge rusher or OT (otherwise to Indy or Buffalo... both need both) down to 20.

Please let it be Doctson. That would make the Jets draft exciting for the first time in years. We need some youth and talent on offense

This seems like more of a bait tactic than anything else.

If you look at the teams directly behind us, they are WR needy teams.

You advertise as being intrigued to enhance the possibility of trading back in the draft.

Which is what I hope we do.

Well if we are rolling w/ Petty and a rookie QB taken in the middle rounds, better get them a ton of talent.
