I remember when he came out of Texas Southern. He was another player (similar to Namath) that was drafted by the NFC (colts I think) but opted for the new, upstart AFC NY Jets. He protected Namath's blind side for about 10 yrs. Good guy. Sorry to see him go before we won another ring.
Warrior and legend...Many don't know but he is one of the main reasons our franchise has a super bowl... He was key in stopping the Colts right side that whole game...It opened up room for Snell to go off for 121 yards. RIP
I've only seen him when watching the reruns of Super Bowl III, but everything I've read about has been nothing short of great, especially of the field. RIP Winston Hill
winston hill used to come to namaths football camp, which i used to attend as a kid. spent a lot of time with him. learned my blocking techniques from him. he was a great man who loved the game with all his heart. RIP
