    Apologies for the delay.

With the 31st pick in the 4th round the Carolina Panthers select Deandre Houston-Carson, FS, William & Mary.

    Carolina Panthers 2016 Draft Class:
    1.31. Taylor Decker, OT
    2.31. Sterling Shepard, WR
    3.31. Jordan Howard, RB
    4.31. Deandre Houston-Carson, FS

Probably would have changed things up if I'd known Josh Norman would be gone from the beginning, but I'm still happy with the haul.

Nice haul for the Panthers. Not one bad pick in the bunch.

4-32-130 Baltimore Ravens - 101GangGreen101 asked me to make the pick so the Ravens select Justin Simmons FS Boston College.

Not sure Baltimore has found a replacement for Ed Reed but Simmons goes 6'2" 202lbs runs a 4.61 40 and has a 40" vertical.

    Batting order:

4-30-128 Arizona Cardinals - vegaskarl - Time is up, (Hawkins was taken) can pick any time
4-33-131 Green Bay Packers - NYJalltheway (Compensatory Selection) OTC - PM sent
    4-34-132 Baltimore Ravens - 101GangGreen101 (Compensatory Selection)
4-35-133 San Francisco 49ers - Jedabe (Compensatory Selection)
    4-36-134 Baltimore Ravens - 101GangGreen101 (Compensatory Selection)
4-37-135 Dallas (Compensatory Selection) - No GM anyone can make selection
4-38-136 Denver Broncos- James Hasty (Compensatory Selection)
4-39-137 Green Bay Packers - NYJalltheway (Compensatory Selection)
4-40-138 Cleveland Browns - Big Cat (Compensatory Selection)
    4-41-139 Buffalo Bills - nyjets21 (Compensatory Selection)

OK one more time. I didn't see this player get picked yet. The AZ Cards pick:

Time is up! Pandemonium ensues as three teams rush the podium.

The Ravens select Jerrell Adams TE South Carolina
The Cowboys select Dak Prescott QB Missippi State (finally got their QB of the future)

I almost took this guy last round so I am pleasantly surprised he is still here. The Denver Broncos use their final selection to take Willie Henry DT Michigan. He may have come out a year early but is an outstanding value at the end of round four.

Alexander saw the bredth of his domain and he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer. After winning the Superbowl the Denver Broncos have completed a draft for the ages:

Round one, pick 32 Kevin Dodd DE / OLB Clemson

The arrow is pointed up for Dodd who finished the season with a streak of five consecutive games with a sack. Dodd already looks the part of an NFL defensive end and his desire to make plays coupled with his physical traits and talent should have him shooting up draft boards. His lack of college snaps could preclude him from being "pro ready", but his instincts and football intelligence should expedite the learning process.

Round two, pick 51 Connor Cook QB Michigan State

As a four-year starter, Cook has the big game experience and the production from a pro-style attack that should warrant early consideration. The concern is that his short and intermediate accuracy has never shown the improvement and consistency that scouts expected to see. His inability to take over in big games this year could hurt his cause. Cook flashes the potential of an NFL starter, but he has the makeup of game manager over playmaker.

Third round 98th selection Scooby Wright III ILB Arizona

Scooby Wright probably won’t tear up the combine with eye-popping athletic numbers and his injury-plagued 2015 season put his name on the backburner as far as draft discussions, but his instincts, production and overall competitive fire make him one of the safer second day bets in this draft. He could make a late move up the draft board for teams who value elite production.

Fourth round 136th selection Willie "Hardcore Henry" Henry DT Michigan

Henry is an athletic 3-technique who turns 21 in March and should continue to add functional mass and power to battle and win at the point of attack. Henry’s sack numbers were bolstered by his work in T/E twists and might not be indicative of his ability to beat pass protection consistently, but his understanding of twists and closeout quickness could keep him on the field on third downs. Henry should find his way into a starting lineup sooner rather than later.

The defending champs are locked and loaded for a repeat!

4-35-133 San Francisco 49ers - Jedabe (Compensatory Selection) - Time is up
4-39-137 Green Bay Packers - NYJalltheway (Compensatory Selection) OTC PM sent
4-40-138 Cleveland Browns - Big Cat (Compensatory Selection)
    4-41-139 Buffalo Bills - nyjets21 (Compensatory Selection)

Damn if only you drafted for the Jets like that. Broncos would be heading for a repeat with this draft.

The Mr. Irrelevent of this draft and my final selection for the Bills is: Robert Aguayo, Kicker, Florida State.
Not going to lie I stole this from Walterfootball but I think he's one of the better kickers coming out of school in a while and Dan Carpenter was a mess last season botching extra points left and right.
Nice draft fellas glad we finished before the real one.

4-35-133 San Francisco 49ers - Jedabe (Compensatory Selection) has a pick coming but otherwise this draft is in the books with two days to spare!

Thanks to everyone who helped us speed things up in the last round.

I think Denver's draft is something special but the Jets have four starting caliber players even if I rolled the dice a bit.

Here is the link to the Jets summary:

With the 35 pick in the 4th Round, 49ers select Alex McCalister, DE, Florida

Big guy who will likely end up a situational pass rusher rather than an everydown player which is fine at this stage in the draft

I accidentally posted my draft results in the selections thread. Woops.

Maybe I'll fix it when I'm home, and not on Tapa.

All four rounds of my picks were drafted before the Texans real life 3rd round pick. Feel like I got pretty good value.
