The texans put up a good fight, Giants had a lot of players out. Still the Giants running game should have ran the Texans out of the building. I think the reason the giants are so good really starts with their offensive line which no one really talks about. Those guys open up holes all day and they usually provide eli with a ton of time to throw. One of those guys should make the pro bowl, probably Snee.

how did y'all like mario's sack on eli? he put on a vicious humpback move on giants' tackle, whitfield, throwing him out of the way about 5-6 feet. after wrapping up elisha for the sack, mario did the "ballin'" celebration. the giants fans went apeshit. awesome!

Still a bust compared to Reggie Bush.

So he can put one good move over the course of an entire game on an old-as-dirt backup tackle. And then gloat.

Bush has played absolutely miserably this year. I haven't seen Williams play much but the sack yesterday would pretty much give him the edge so far, even if he's done nothing else all year.

edit: anyone has the right to mock that awful celebration the giants do. i may be exaggerating here but it's pretty much the worst thing ever in sports.

Probably not the worst ever, but moronic, classless, and clueless, for sure.

You're absolutely right about Bush. He has had a couple of exceptional plays (like the punt return for a TD), but overall he has been invisible on the ground (he has been decent as a short yardage receiver). On the other hand, Drew Brees has shown just how idiotic the Dolphins were in going for Culpepper over him.

I didn't see the punt return stats, he's been pretty good in that regard, including the TD he's got 3 returns of 20+ in 17 returns.

On the offensive side of the ball though he's been terrible, showing next to no playmaking ability. He's got 128 "touches" and hasn't scored a TD, has turned the ball over twice and only has 2 plays of 20 yards or longer(both receptions). He does have alot of receptions but has a dismal 6.8 YPC. If he wants to even be the Westbrook clone the "pessemists" were projecting he needs to get that YPC up around 9 or 10 and obviously improve his nonexistant rushing numbers.

Bush has played eight games thus far. In two of them he had more rushing attempts than rushing yards.

He is averaging 2.6 yards per carry.

He had a couple good runs in the Cleveland game. He also had that fancy run against Tennessee in the preseason. Outside of those two games, has he had any good runs?

It's either his nagging injuries are really hampering him or he is an amazing bust.
