Dallas needs a DE to replace Hardy so with the 101st pick in the 2016 NFL draft the Dallas Cowboys Select: Charles Tapper DE Oklahoma This kid is special and probably should have been a 2nd round pick. Plays fast and if he looses a few might be a 3-4 OLB but we all know how that goes. Wouldn't mind him being a Jet but for this draft he is a Cowboy San Diego Chargers - vegaskarl OTC
With the 102nd pick in the 2016 draft: The Chargers select OT John Theus, Georgia @Brandon Moore's Butt you are OTC
Hey guys, don't skip me. have been having phone issues but I'm sorted now. Working on finding my right prospect currently.
With the 5th pick of the 4th round of the NFL Draft the Jacksonville Jaguars select Dominique Alexander, LB, Oklahoma. There was a couple other prospects who MAY have been a bigger steal here, but I think this is the best fit for the Jags at this stage. The Jags need help in the LB spot and I think Alexander would make a really good OLB in their 4-3 especially with the beast D-Line they've built, plus Bosa in the first and Fowler coming back, he should be able to stay relatively clean. Has good speed, tackling ability, coverage skills, and instincts his biggest knock is size and play strength which would be pretty well mitigated. Jaguars 2016 Draft Class: 1) Joey Bosa DE 2) Cody Whitehair OG/OT 3) Jack Allen C 4)Dominique Alexander LB Thoughts/Opinions?
With the 5th pick of the 4th round of the NFL Draft the Baltimore Ravens select Jordan Payton - WR, UCLA. Very productive WR in college, sharp route runner with excellent hands - lacks the top end speed, but a reliable target for Flacco. 1- 6- 6 Baltimore - DE DeForest Buckner 2- 5-36 Baltimore - OT Jason Spriggs 3- 7-70 Baltimore - Deion Jones LB 4- 6-104 Baltimore - Jordan Payton WR Pretty solid draft class for the Ravens so far. Plenty of upside. San Francisco 49ers @Jedabe you are OTC
You opted for the faster dl moving Jackson into dt instead of keepin Jackson at de and bringing in Buckner at dt Two teams in your division invested a lot in the rb position. I don't know how well they'll be able to stop the run.
Yeah, that was the idea in taking Bosa was moving Jackson to DT. I admittedly just had (have?) a passing knowledge of the Jaguars but everywhere I looked for their needs screamed for pass rush above all. Most of the fans in the Jags forum I found felt like a lack of pressure killed them more than anything else. Jackson is a nice addition but has a career high of 6 sacks in '13, 5 last year. I'm not CRAZY for Bosa, I was hoping for Jack to be honest, but he's talented and he can get to the QB. We don't know how Fowler will look coming back from injury so Bosa is insurance in case he can't return to form, but if he does then all the better! Fair point on run defense being a potential weakness with the new RB's in division. Looking at last year's stats they were actually just above league average in run defense but I'm sure that's partly because their pass defense was so bad. Buckner would've been a good pick for sure, I just went in another direction.
With the 6th pick of the 4th round the San Francisco 49ers select Shon Coleman, OT, Auburn. Solid college LT who projects to RT in the NFL. May need some time to adjust to the bigger stage but should help improve the line with the return of Anthony Davis. Could potentially play OG
Coleman was taken, try again = 3-17-80 New England from Buffalo -Shon Coleman OT There is a thread below this one will almost all of the selections so far.
Sorry about that: Pick is now Landon Turner, OG, North Carolina @nyjets21 now OTC with the Bears 49ers Draft: 1- Jared Goff, QB, Cal (Not gonna happen now) 2- Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame 3- Yannick Ngakoue, OLB, Maryland 4- Landon Turner, OG, North Cackalacky
Sorry about the delay Hasty was about to PM you my pick last night. With the 7th pick of the 4th round the Chicago Bears select: Kenyan Drake, RB, Alabama. I think he'd be a nice complementary back to Jeremy Langford. Nice value at 106.
Glad you beat the buzzer. Green Bay Packers - NYJalltheway is OTC (pick obtained from Dolphins) - PM sent
Just because you have six hours to make your pick you do not have to use all six hours. Come on, let's pick up the pace.
Time is up so the pick is a kicker. The Green Bay Packers select Roberto Aguayo K Florida State. Tampa Bay Freddy Mondo OTC
Green Bay pick was horrible. Recently resigned K Mason Crosby: $16.1M/4 yrs, $5M SB. Draft needs are TE, WR & OL (3 starters are free agents next year, both guards and a tackle)
