Browns signing RG3 is the best news I've had all days. No more chance of him being a Jet. The amount be signed for is also good news, since he will be in the hunt for the starting job and is only getting $7.5M a year. I do feel Fitz should get more and hopefully we can get a deal done soon.
The Browns had boatloads of cap room last I checked. A 2 year isn't gonna shoot them in the foot if it doesn't work,
If you mean a second rounder, no way. If you mean the No 2 pick, Macc would be a crazy genius to pull that off.
Now hopefully Denver and SF cancel each other out and Fitz comes back to us. Our fingers are crossed!!!
On what planet do you think Fitz who had one good season at the end of his whole career deserves or is with more than double what RG3 just got? If Fitz really is looking for 15 or 17mill per. He's not signing here. Fitz is worth 7-9.
Whatever Fitz is not worth anything north of 10M a year and even that is crazy considering he just played at 3.75 last year.
If I recall right Fitz was shotgunning a beer in a parking lot, his career over, when the Jets called. One would be happy with any millions a year after that I'd think.
That's a lot of money? The Redskins gave Cousins 20mill guarnteed just for this season,Bradford got similar money. The one person who deserves to get paid is the QB
So glad that POS is not a Jet. Don't trust him far as I could throw him I think the Jets win the waiting game with RF. I don't see Denver making an offer so that's good Options: Kaep, Glennon, McGown Fitzsexton hoping we love only him
You thought he'd get more? He was bad in 2013, really bad in 2014 and didn't take a snap last year. It's a huge roll of the dice for Cleveland. They have no idea what they are getting. I think it's a lot. How much did you think he'd get? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RGIII Tears ACL Walking Into Browns Facility For First Time http://dailysnark.com/report-rgiii-tears-acl-walking-browns-facility-first-time/
He had 16 TD/12 INT at 60% completion percentage for 3,200 yards (eclipsing his rookie year total) and ran for almost 500 yards in 13 games. He wasn't all world, but we've seen a lot worse quarterback play than that as Jets fans to call it "bad." Keep in mind he was feuding with both his coaches, and his coaches were fighting with ownership. Would you rather pay RG3 more money than Chase Daniels? Brian Hoyer? Josh McCown? For a franchise that is a graveyard for quarterbacks and nowhere near competing next year it was a good decision to bring him in on such a low risk contract.
