One thing I want to point out is that despite the players surrounding Fitzpatrick, I still feel he deserves a lot of credit. Brandon Marshall had an amazing year. Eric Decker looked great. Enunwa and Thompkins stepped up their game. Ivory and Powell looked better. I think part of that credit goes to Fitzpatrick. Gailey too, but someone had to run his offense and that was Ryan Fitzpatrick. Team chemistry is important. So could RGIII or Mike Glennon or Geno succeed in this offense with these weapons? I think the answer is yes, but doubtful they gel as well as Fitzpatrick did last year. Same goes for Fitzpatrick himself, but worse. Could he succeed in Kubiak's offense? I think so. But besides the Broncos, I think he would struggle everywhere else to come close to what he had here in 2015.
Fitz would have to watch himself in Denver. He's a better QB than Sanchez, but Sanchez's style is a better fit for Kubiak's offense.
Mike Glennon was selected in the 3rd round, so that's his starting stock. You're gonna tell me that he got 2 rounds more expensive by getting benched for Josh McCown and his team using a first overall pick on a QB?
Wow, according to mike Nash and cinnamon fitz cut off communications with the jets, idk tho, we may have rg3 by the end of the weeks or fitz
Lol, so we are gonna trade a first or second for mike glennon and not sign rg3 when he won't cost us much wtf is Mac doing
Mike Nash is a guy who work for the jetpress, one of the more reliable jets writers and sorry my phone autocorrected cimini (whom can be full of shit) but if Nash is backing t up I can trust it some
Foles would kill it in this offense. I'm not sold on RG3. I'd take McCarron and Glennon too. No running type QBs.
Foles was good for one season and that was because chip Kelly brought his college offense in NFL, got exposed after teams knew what it was
They are still butthurt about the Revis deal. No chance they get a 1st for Glennon. Conditional 3rd at best.
Glennon for a 1st is a joke... I wouldn't offer more than a 4th tbh... He also doesn't fit the system very well... You need some mobility in a spread offence, along with a good arm and solid connection with your WRs running routes.
fitz needs some credit. he also need some blame. alot of us failing to make the playoffs was on him. he played at a league average level... whcih was a BIG improvement from Geno. but its still just league average. i dont think it would be tough to replace whaat he gave us with similar health on offense
