but for a team to lose 9 starters from a team that only has 22 starters on it is a ton of guys. every superbowl team is going to lose a couple, maybe even 3 or 4 but this team lost 9 guys. thats almost half of the starters from last year. it seems to me like a very large number. maybe im wrong, and i am not going to look up the numbers but i have to assume thats more than typical.

Yes, but again it was Denver's bad luck to have a bunch of guys not under contract for the coming year as they won the SB. I dunno... Maybe to some extent some of those guys played a bit harder, do you think? as they were about to go into FA. Maybe that helped push the team over enough to win the SB. Not that that was their FO's plan, but it was just their luck 2015 was their year.

I guess they will have to console themselves with the SB win. And ftr they still have a solid group of players. If they can get decent Qb play, they should still compete for a playoff spot.

I've read some articles that say they are now apart in negotiations because his salary is guaranteed now. The Broncos want the Niners to pay 4.5m of his guaranteed money. In my eyes that's beyond dumb. If everything else was in place already and they had agreed in concept on fair compensation, why didn't they pull the trigger before the salary became guaranteed? I feel like he's going to stay in San Fran now.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if the Broncos had traded for him before April 1st without Kaep agreeing to a restructure, which he clearly is not interested in doing, the contract still would have become guaranteed and Denver's responsibility. So it's not the guaranteed part that could be holding it up, that was always going to get triggered; it's that Kaep wants his money.

Another ignorant racist athlete who victimizes criminals simply because they are black and blames everybody except the criminal, from the cops to the institution of the country itself, for criminal behavior.

Ask Dewayne Wade today how he feels about defending armed black criminals so he can be a racist social warrior and criticize police instead of condemning the culture of guns and violence among black youth.

When you defend armed black youth when they are justifiably shot and killed you send the message that the gun violence they live by is acceptable. When the culture believes it is acceptable and will be defended it will only continue. And as it continues it will eventually claim victim to someone you care about.

People collect things, all sorts of things; some of it being particularly weird shit. Still, the sneaker thing I just don't get. It's a practical piece of clothing made in really ugly colors and sold for ridiculous prices. With all of that said if they had the Back to the Future Nikes in my size I would have been all over two pairs. One to wear and the other to stick in a closet as a collectable... cough. cough ahem..

People's overreaction to this is pathetic. Who gives a shit? Black people being oppressed in America is an issue worth taking a stand over. For instance, someone just a few posts ago just insinuated black people are criminals. He doesn't understand the issue at all but God bless that poster, he's happy to open his mouth anyway. This is why people have to take a stand because racism is still a huge issue in this country.

    Jesus Christ.

Racism is going to continue being a problem in this country as long as there's constant accusations of it, and as long as racism is defined as "any opinion that I don't like regardless of whether or not it has anything to do with racism." People need to just stop talking about it; stop having clubs and scholarships for people of certain races and ethnicities. Stop searching through everything you see with a fine toothed comb to see if you can discover anything that may or may not be a shred of prejudice. Stop walking around all day looking for things to be offended by or offended by on behalf of someone else.

Fuck Kaepernick. Arrogant piece of shit. Thank God we didn't sign him.

Holy shit, you have to be kidding me. Do you mean besides laws being targeted at disenfranchising them? Or unfair targeting by the police? How about getting followed around in a store because they might steal something? Maybe it's outright being denied something purely for being black. All of those things happen multiple times on a daily basis and to say they don't would be absurd.

So basically if we ignore racism, it'll stop happening?

You do realize that has never worked in the history of humankind, right?
