Jets are gonna visit with Tight End Jermaine Gresham according to pft.Would be a huge upgrade over Davis and Cumberland http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/03/11/jets-visit-with-jermaine-gresham/
Me too. It kills me. We've seen too much of that kinda shit the last 5 years. Enough of guys like him already...fuck these guys who don't know how to play. I'd have rather him drop the ball than not have a clue about what the fuck he should've done. That was horrible
Having no TE in the formation, heck even if that means one less player on the field would be better than having Gresham there ready to a) drop the ball, or b) make a mental mistake. (of course this is an exaggeration, and a bit harsh perhaps, but please not Gresham!)
Gresham caught 280 passess in his 5 years with the Bengals,Cumberland and Davis have caught probably 75 combined in there carrers
...but it's the passes he didn't catch, in key situations, that people are talking about. ... ie. he's not clutch.
Who's talking about that? There talking about Davis name one pass Gresham dropped since you apparently watch all Bengals games
The other posters in this thread. I'm just saying, on the occasions when I have watched him, he has dropped passes in key spots, or failed to make the play when he should have, and others earlier in this thread brought up a game against the Bills where he committed a horrendous brain fart. Just think there are better options out there, even a rookie would prob be better imo.
Dude he's a blocking TE that can actually catch a fuckn pass. Compared to Davis he's Jason Whitten for fucks sake. They're taking a look at a blocking TE. Read the scouting report in the link, at least
Well he wasn't a blocking TE coming out of college...maybe they converted him to one to try and save face after blowing a 1st round pick on a receiving TE who somehow can't catch in the pros? .... anyway we'll just have to "agree to disagree" on this one, but if he signs with us I hope you're right of course.
He's one of the best run blocking tight ends in the league. He would actually be a great complement to amaro and put Kellen Davis / Cumby to shame. This would be a big win for the running game especially if Giacomini is still playing RT
Well apparently he's done better job than Amaro. A TE has to block. Now like I said, look at the numbers, the guys caught a ton of passes. What are they supposed to do? Not look at him? wow
He puts on helmet for us he's better than anybody we had last year. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
