suggesting Br*dy didn't have talent is as ignorant as suggesting he never cheat.
    really really weak argument.

can't wait for the suspension to be upheld. it's a tough winter for Br*dy lovers.

I just think it's unfair to criticize Manning in the playoffs or Superbowl (in particular this past one) but praise Brady for the same things. He underperformed in more than one big game yet they won and people forget that he wasn't exactly destroying teams in that 3 of 4 run outside of his performance against Carolina.

    2001
    Divisional: 32/52 for 312 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT - W 16-13
    Championship: 12/18 for 115, 0 TD, 0 INT - W 24-17/ Bledsoe threw for a TD
    SB: 16/27 for 145 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT - W 20-17

    2003
    Divisional: 21/41 for 201 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT - W 17-14
    Championship: 22/37 for 237, 1 TD, 1 INT - W 24-14
    SB: 32/48 for 354, 3 TD, 1 INT - W 32-29

    2004
    Divisional: 18/27 for 144, 1 TD, 0 INT - W 20-3
    Championship: 14/21 for 207, 2 TD, 0 INT - W 41-27
    SB: 23/33 for 236, 2 TD, 0 INT - W 24-21

I posted this in the other thread, and feel as though it's incredibly relevant to this argument. He threw for under 250 yards 7 times in 9 games, and for arguments sake 210 yards or less 5 times in 9 games.

In the Panthers Super Bowl, New England received the ball at the 40 after a terrible kick out of bounds. They didn't allow a sack in this game to one of the better pass rushing defenses in the league.

He had 19 passing yards on what would be the eventual game winning field goal against the Eagles. The Pats also had 10 total yards on their two final drives that game (although they were running the clock out). They only allowed 1 sack all game long.

Granted, he threw for 53 yards to beat the Rams, in the game where New England knew every single play the Rams were running. So give credit where credit is certainly due. They only allowed 2 sacks.

He played well enough to win these games but they were far from dominating performances. If he had Manning's Colts defenses in these games they probably get blown out.

It doesn't mean "nothing" when you are evaluating the QB and how clutch he is. It doesn't take away the fact the team lost the games and I never said it did.

Of course an obvious moron with no reading comprehension and no idea what a rationalization is, like yourself, doesn't know the difference.

A rationalization is when you blame the drunk teenage girls who wind up in Ben the rapist's private bathroom stall rather than the thug who dragged them in there.

I do believe you can't be objective. I hate New England. But the facts are the facts.

So in your opinion you're being "objective" and the facts you choose to believe are the only "facts'.

Manning is the greatest regular season player of all time and up until a few years ago Manning was overwhelmingly thought of as the better QB. Wasn't until Manning started breaking down that Brady caught up.

And to give Brady credit for SBs that many believe to be tainted and for SBs that he didn't really play all that well in does not move him ahead of Manning. And to disregard Brady having Belli and Manning having 4 different coaches does not come off as being "objective.

There are plenty of "facts" to support either side.

Oh boy, guess I'm busted. You got me. Way to debate, Stokes. Don't let facts get in your way. At the very least I thought you could respectfully debate the topic without all the name calling and trolling I see in your comments. But, you are the "Czar" of the message board. You have approximately 19k comments in under 3 years?!! Tells me you're probably a bit mentally unstable.

This is where kettle meets black.

I did offer up legit thoughts but you ignored them and quoted my earlier joke.

    Well done.

Maybe the best sexual harasser of all time. Well either him or Big Ben.

But Brady locked up GOAT a long time ago.
