It's right in the cop's statement. "I ordered Richardson and his two adult male passengers out of the vehicle at gunpoint due to Richardson appearing to reach for something between his feet upon being ordered to stop. A fully loaded semi-automatic handgun was recovered from underneath the driver's side floor mat of the vehicle."
Lol. He was driving 147 mph in a high speed police chase with a minor in the car and the smell of weed. Isn't that bad enough? There is no need to invent further charges against him. Sheldon Richardson did not pull a gun on cops. If he did he'd be dead or in prison. Stop. _
I'm not freaking out about it. It's like he pulled a hammie or got concussed or whatever and was out a few weeks. Happens to good players all the time. Injuries, suspensions, what ever. He'll be back when he's back and go on to be our best D-lineman for the next 6 years.
Please post a link to the cop saying Sheldon grabbed the gun and pulled it out on the cop. Not that he reached under his seat or thought about pointing it at the cop of any other crime you can imagine. If Sheldon "pulled a gun on a cop" the headlines wouldn't have been about the 147 mph high speed chase or the kid or the weed or the licensed gun under the seat. It would have been SHELDON RICHARDSON PULLS GUN ON COP. There really is no need to make up new crimes that didn't happen. _
What? He didn't even beat the shit out of a women or a child. and he drove fast while high? He deserves a medal.
Defendents in court room opposite Sheldon's with a better case for lenient punishment. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
He was likely pushing it under his seat so the cop wouldn't see it. He never pulled a gun on a cop. Pretty sure that's a Class A Felony. _
Of course. When we were kids and you had beers in the car or a pint of Tango? You leaned over and you shoved it under the mat. You didn't offer the cop a sip. _
I didn't drink and drive like an asshole so I wouldn't know anything about that. The fact of the matter is, he did an insane amount of stupid shit that if any of us here did it, we'd be in prison already. The NFL should come down on him hard to make an example of him and only insane people could defend him. Stop getting hung up on wording, that doesn't make you superior. Sheldon's an asshole for what he did, stop defending him.
I'm not defending anything he did. He's a stupid asshole. But he did NOT pull a gun on a cop. It has nothing to do with superiority or with "wording". Sheldon Richardson did not, in fact, pull a gun on a cop. No need to get testy about it. And life was a LOT different back in the 70s. If you know anyone in their 40s or 50s or 60s or 70s they likely drank and drove. _
