From the horses mouth himself... "I actually feel pretty good, arm strength‑wise. I think if you go back and look at that film, I overthrew Laveranues by 10 yards on a post route. That was a 55‑yard throw in the air. Then all of my 'go' throws down the field to Laveranues, Justin, all those were out in front. So that's a positive. That's the one thing I do feel really confident and comfortable about right now, is the arm strength, the ability to push the ball down the field. Now, what I have to do is make better decisions when it is time to push the ball down the field, when it's not, giving my receivers a chance." http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show_permalink/pennington-confident-in-arm-strength
I want a second opinion! From either Dr. Brad Smith or Dr. Kellen Clemens. Just kidding. I love The Chad and I really hope he is healthy and this performance that was reminiscent of him playing wounded at the end of '04/beginning of '05, is a distant memory when we land in Foxboro. Playing in the wind is not a tolerable excuse for a guy who plays 8 games a year at Giants Stadium, where the winds are as legendary as Marv Albert's wig. If it's that windy, make smarter passes, i.e. SHORTER, PRECISE passes. And for chrissake, don't repeatedly throw in the direction a defensive back who looks like he has an M-X missile up his ass while touching every pass in his direction. That same Michael Jordanesque leaper had his palms, NOT FINGERTIPS, on the balls Chad was tossing. That is intolerable.
