^ Looks to be mostly stuff we already knew going forward.

There's also the STH Conference Call that was going on a bit ago with him, anyone tune in? I did for a bit and it was pretty cool. Mike spoke with such a down-to-earth demeanor -

    - Said he hopes to retain Mo and the leg break isn't something that would really factor into a long-term deal because it's just that - a leg break and not the knee/ACL.
    - Said he feels for a guy like Arian Foster who may get cut due to injury, as he was with him for years over in Houston. But understands the idea as a GM of having to part ways and find a replacement.
    - Piggy backed on Bowles talking about team needs for next season - faster defensive players/LBs, and addressing the O-Line, etc. Said just like they create a Draft Board of players eligible and by rank, they do the same thing with a Free Agency Board. Thought that part was really cool.

Arian Foster to the Jets on a 1 yr contract confirmed. 29 years of age. Dude is made of glass, but you cannot deny his talent.

You really think Mike will bother? Could be a better look than Ridley/Stacy I guess.

Foster and Powell would make a pretty nice duo!

Foster would be great Ivory replacement probably even cheaper with superior talent.
My favorite takeaway is Mac is open to bringing whole D-line back and not acting like these star players are expendable.

Arian Foster would be a great replacement for Ivory. The amount of time spent on the sidelines and in the trainer's room by Ivory is matched only by Foster, he would immediately fill the void.

The best way to replace Ivory is probably to draft somebody in the first 4 rounds that you think will play some, sign a tier 2 vet free agent RB in his prime who you think will play some, draft a late round guy that you think could play some if everybody went down in front of him and also re-sign Powell. Then you wait to see who shakes loose over the summer and in training camp and is available dirt cheap and you sign him too. 5 guys and you'll always have 2 of them available at the end of the season and if you're lucky one of the diamonds in the rough turns into a star or the the tier 2 vet or Powell has a career year.

The Jets ran out of RB's this year by the end and that as much as anything else is why we lost to the Bills and missed the playoffs.

He would definitely be an upgrade over Ivory, Ridley or Stacy. None of these RBs can stay healthy. Depending on the deal, I could see Foster being a Jet for a season or 2. He's a true 3 down back. That shouldn't stop the Jets from drafting a RB in the LATER rounds [not the early ones].

Go into the season with Foster / Powell / Rookie RB ... only thing I worry is if Foster can adapt to a blocking scheme that isn't the zone read.

Nah, he is injury prone and getting up there in age.

Foster finished the season starting 14 or more games 4 outta the last 6 seasons ... far better at handling a season load compared to Ivory who couldn't handle half the season.

Injury prone to an extent, but if he could stay healthy he's easily a 1100 yard, 50 catch running back. Worth a shot if he's cheap.

It would just be a waste of money. He looked slow coming off that groin injury now an achilles dude is finished. Plus he will just get hurt again

Actually this guy has back issues too? Errr, I would take a chance with him over Zac Stacy, a RBBC would best suit him though.

I thought he just had an Achilles issue.

When was the last time he was good? He hasn't played in a while and this league will pass you by quickly, especially at the RB position. I mean, look at guys like Mo Jo-Drew and Chris Johnson.
