what good would it do for mangini to throw a tantrum? so he gets kicked out of the game and a fine from the league.... there was nothing mangini could do to get the refs to reverse the call.
The same people that want emotion would be the same ones whining about what an idiot he looked like yelling,kicking and screaming at the officials. His mantra is, to not let things effect your ultimate goal of winning. It helped carry them past the Jacksonville game when many teams would have been paralyzed and folded the tent. It will also carry them past this as well. I think it is pretty cool to have a team that conducts itself as a professional organization. This top down philosophy is a long time in coming to the Jets. Mangini handled it like a seasoned pro, which is totally in line with how he is captaining this ship. I am completely cool with that. He is consistent and prepared. When he gets the proper personnel and rectifies the poor decisions of the past, this team is going to be challenging for championships.
