The issue is that almost every team is flawed. The Pat's lost to the awful Fins today, the Broncos have their hands full with pitiful SD at home with a chance to lock up home field, theBengals barely beat the Ravens at home, the Steelers laid an egg last week, and so on. The Jets were as good as any team in the AFC, but shit the bed and the season today.

Yes I do. Who said the Jets "should" have won today? I saw many comments from posters on here that Buffalo sucked, that they had nothing to play for, and were just gonna lay down. I never believed that. They're pros and have pride. If they can defeat a division rival and knock them from the playoffs, they're gonna do their best, especially since Rex hates the Jets now. He probably worked overtime to come up with one of his 3-4 excellent game plans a year. They have a lot of talent on that team.

Just because we needed to win the game, obviously doesn't mean we would. Some of the players may have choked under the pressure. Our RBs were all beat up. Fitz doesn't have the arm to throw in the wind at Buffalo. Our LBs are too slow and couldn't keep Tyrod contained in the pocket. Our DBs couldn't cover Greg Salas, much less Sammy Watkins. I think we lost because we just don't have a good enough team yet. We don't have a franchise QB. We don't have enough speed on offense or defense. We don't have a good enough OL.

I said 'should' because we were the better team and Buffalo was banged up. To me, this team was good enough to win that game but just didn't play like it. I have no problem with you disagreeing, I really just wanted to see what your thoughts were after the game was finished.

That's cool, and no one said we had to agree. Buffalo is banged up, but then so are the Jets. Our #2 RB didn't play and the #1 was so banged up he didn't play much. I think we definitely have the better HC and are better at some positions than they are, but they are better than we are at some positions. Even if our team is better overall, it's also a matter of matchups. Sometimes, excellent teams just don't match up well with other teams and lose, even though they're the superior team.
