Lol I think The Fat Fuck was trying to be buddy buddy with Darrelle that day. And the vain clown actually thought his reputation as a 'football guy' preceded him and he could banter with Darrelle as an insider. His reputation preceded him alright, Revis was advised to be wary of him as a Jet antagonizer. Other than that Darrelle prolly had no fuckin idea of who the obese asshole was
3 games left and Brandon Marshall can do something pretty amazing. In his first year with the team with a career journeyman who also is in his first year with the team Marshall has a chance to break the single season receiving yards record, receptions record, and receiving TD's record. Receptions is going to happen and 4 TD's is definitely in reach. The most difficult one will be yards. Needs 82.3 yards per game to break it. With these numbers though he should be a safe bet.
And - for a moment, to think this is his first year ever to have a QB with half a brain. [And leadership.] Jay Cutler may have a better physical tool than Fitzpatrick, but he is a fucking loser. I never knew Marshall was this loyal. He looks like he'd run through the wall to make a play for Fitzpatrick. It's refreshing to see that kind of camaraderie among Jet players.
Yea cutler may have more talent and better arm but Fitz has more fire and desire to play football. He's a better leader and teammate.
Honestly what he mentioned in his presser was telling - he was talking about adjusting to the PAts adjustments, and how happy he was that we were actually doing it. You think with Schottenheimer or Rex we actually did shit like that? That's over 10 years of not having a real offense doing that. That's insane.
Marshall is a beast. One of the top 10-15 receivers in NFL history in my opinion. YPC are amazing, 10,000 plus yards in his career.
I heard them say on NFL network he was retiring after this year. Deon said he won't. That the first I heard that.
Retiring after this season? Definitely the first I'm hearing of this. Marshall will play for a few more seasons at least.
Don't worry about him. Marshall will be ours for a few more years, and we should enjoy the wins while we still can.
Anybody else notice Marshall chase down Collins and attempt to punch the ball out on the fumble recovery? Nice effort.
