I'm a SF Giants fan. During their 3 World Series Championships, they were never the "best" team. However, I've never seen a team that was more selfless and liked each other than those teams. This Jets team reminds me of them.
It helps that Manish Mehta has been unable to generate any problems with his "sources". Guy must be hating that the Jets are 9-5. I just love how Bowles gives the media absolutely nothing to blow out of proportion (to this point).
Marshall has a right to critize cutler and the bears. They have been a dumpster fire for the last few years. There is a huge misconception about marshall. He is intelligent, well spoken, and speaks his mind. That doesnt always fly in this league. When he was younger he was battling mental illness and he was immature. That made him act like a petulant child sometimes. But now he has matured and he has learned tools to cope with his mental illness. Some guys in this league start out with the diva label and then kind of mellow out. Randy moss and chris carter come to mind. I do agree that he is better in a winning locker room but i dont think its because hes a bad team mate. He speaks his mind and when you are losing some guys dont deal with that well.

It's amazing how in a month Brandon Marshall has become the consignment professional and all around great guy. The guy has a rap sheet a mile long including beating his girlfriend. I'm glad he is on the team but gimme a fuckin break. Talk about homers!

I know the Jets have cut players only to have them do great on a different team. Chad, that LBer we cut that went to Pitt and played great for 10 more years, Abraham, Washington, etc. So we know how it sucks when this happens. Why people are going crazy because I think Marshall is on his best behavior at the moment because the Jets are winning is crazy. There are many examples of Marshall throwing tantrums when things don't go his way. Everywhere he has been management and former teammates could't wait to get rid of him. How the fuck do you think we got him for a 5th round pick. That's not even getting into his rap sheet that includes multiple domestic violence arrests, being present at a murder, and being stabbed in the stomach by his wife. No need to get your Jets panties in a bunch I just found it a bit funny people are waxing poetic about his character and leadership abilities.
