Look, I don't care if the Jets come back to win this game, which they probably will. It's inexcusable how poorly this team plays on the road. They have a "3-3" road record, but 1 was in London and 1 was at MetLife stadium. They haven't won a true road game since week 2. That's awful. Then they come out and fall behind 10-9 to a team whose 2 quarterbacks couldn't hit the broad sign of a barn. This team has the personnel to win playoff games, but how can you expect them to go into Denver, Cincy, New England, KC or Pittsburgh and win a game? How can you even expect them to win in Buffalo week 17 to GET to the playoffs? Something needs to fundamentally change to get this team to stop playing sloppy, uninspired football in true road games. This isn't same old Jets-ism. I'm very level headed and I don't hesitate to tell off people for overreacting to one game. But this isn't a game, it's been a season long trend.
Its disturbing how we are beating ourselves right now..... non stop penaltys in cruical moments.Sandra Bullok missing Fieldgoals and extra points ,I'm disgusted because we should be up by atleast 7 instead we are down 1.Good thing Bowles went for it on 4th and 1 and cost us what would have been the lead at this point.....great coaching
Home or away, tonight all the penalties are coming at the wrong time. Not to mention the bullshit horse collar penalty and the shitty play calling.
Should have been a QB sneak on the 4th and a foot. In the first when it was 3rd and 1 they should of pitched it to Ivory to the sideline for the yard not up the gut again for a loss.
I know guys hear me saying this a lot, but TB has to learn to take points and let the game develope, road games are very tough to win even when you do everything right, instead it's his decision and bullock sucking that has prevented this team from having the lead. Chasing points is never a recipe for success, never!
and if they don't have this ability, even with the playoff caliber of players you say we have, then that is food for thought = we are not a playoff team. I think we can be, but I unfortunately feel we are a one and done. Can't bitch about this after what we endured last season. The bottom line is the Jets do not have a stud/franchise quarterback. No knock on Fitz's body of work - he has given his all. Our O line need to be refreshed as well. And when the hell are we going to get a top their TE that changes the complexion of our offense even more??. Another area we consistently lack in.
