I disagree about Skrine. I think he was the one who blew those coverages, and if I'm not mistaken, he missed several tackles as well.

He would be a good addition, but I'd really rather the Jets draft a rookie or sign one as a UDFA. 2 vet RBs are enough (assuming that both Ivory and Powell are back, and I hope they are). I want someone with fresh legs, speed, elusiveness, and good hands who can be the 3rd down back, PR and KOR.

Totally uncalled for remark. I guess you and The Donald are of the same mind. SMH

Huge play, big catch, but thankfully they did throw the flag there. Mauldin has been incredibly important the past few games with some of his rushes, those are game changing plays.

You are either horribly unfunny or incredibly stupid. Don't even get why you'd say something like that.

I keep hearing ppl say this about "north and south" type runner. It's probably true, but Murray killed the edge with the cowboys. A lot of his yards came when he got outside the tackles (this could be that cowboys tackles were monsters...idk?). Murray should be running from a single back set, or with a fullback, or Hback in front. I think the struggles are coming from the gun and a lack of respect for Philly's passing attack.

We agree, Chip's system and Murray's style clash, and it doesn't look to get any better. Especially now that Murray is getting out worked by other backs and can't even get on the field for sustainable amount of touches/production. Murray's miles are way down this year. He is going to have a lot of value for a franchise that runs the football; or operates their offense from under center.

We probably won't have another shot at Murray, and although Ivory is good...he's not a feature back. We have a committee, which is becoming the norm in the NFL. We will need another running back next season. Hopefully a Lamont Jordan, Shonn Greene or Leon Washington type serviceable, productive time share.

Thanks for the reminder, I knew there was something else I was gonna mention. So here are two plays to show you what I was talking about earlier as far as the timing of the snap from the shotgun. This is what JPP did the entire game, he didn't wait for the snap, he just took off as soon as Mangold's head popped up again.

What happens if there's a delay? If the ball doesn't get snapped as soon as Mangold's head pops up? False start, of course.

Now why Chan didn't figure this out during the game I don't know. Or why he'd go into the game knowing this would happen. Just laziness on his part or whoever is responsible for it.

Thanks. I had seen some rumors about this a couple of years ago, but remember that they had been supposedly dispelled. If this article is true, then you are correct. I hope it isn't, but it appears to be. If it's true, then he should not be playing in the NFL where he can make a ton of money to give to those organizations. He'd better watch out since he lives in Texas now. There are people there crazy enough to shoot his ass.

Impressive spot. Damn and you know Gailey or someone else saw it...bc that offside trap was specifically setup for JPP.

I think they were baiting JPP on that one, now looking at the second gif. You can see Powell, Winters and Marshall clapping like "we got him!".

Erin Henderson's impressive run defense. Attacks the ballcarrier, takes on blockers, stands his ground, sheds blockers, makes the tackle for little or no gain. Just some of the things that DD doesn't do well.

This is why I was so excited when we signed him. As noted, not a long-term answer but he's definitely better than DD.

I mean Murray isn't exactly the fastest guy out there, but the majority of the Eagles runs are based out of the shotgun, which I believe isn't something Murray likes to do. While Murray can bounce to the outside, the Eagles system just wants you to run to the outside without attempting to really run it up the middle. It's weird.

I agree with everything you said though no doubt.
