After watching every jet game this season i dont see any game this season winnable. This team simply does not have enough talent to be a consistent winner. It will take us about 3 years to create an NFL powerhouse out of this team and a few great drafts. IMO chad is not our future and doesnt have an nfl caliber arm. Bob Sutton is the biggest freakin loser ive ever seen in my life he doesnt even deserve to be a middle school coach!! I would take Cottrel over him anyday. This team is soooooooooo far from the superbowl its not something we should even think about.
Well lets break it down here, were going to get beat by the pats, bears and vikings. We will struggle against the texans and packers. The Raiders considering their solid defense should play us close. Dolphins will be at home and really want a win for pride. It will be a hard season for the jets.
8 wins by this team and you take it and run... For just about 90% of Jets fans who said 6 wins at the most(me saying 5-11) they've exceeded expectations thus far...But that defense is trash. This team can win anywhere from 6-9 games, just a matter of which Jets team shows up each week. Well, we know what defense will be showing up every week.
Im usually not a pessimist but you cant blame for stating the obvious. We have to at least be alittle concerned about Chads inconcistent play. Bob Suttons poor job preparing the defense to play evry game. Lack of improvement week to week. I never predicted superbowl i just want to see improvement. And if i get bashed for wanting steady improvement in the play of the team you people must not want them ever to win.
So 4 wins at this point in the season...Seeing a good offense(I say good, it isn't shitty, they have playmakers such as Coles, Cotch, Leon, and Baker, but this offense isn't great), agressive head coach and offensive coordinator is not improvement? Damn bro, LMAO. The Jets matched their win total of last season and a new attitude has been brought in. That's not improvement?
we all know half of the world Jet fans are hopeless....they jump and scream super bowl after we defeat the titans on opening day, but they cry and scream for blood when we loss a game....all of a sudden chad goes from champ to chump....its just the way it goes
This is one game. I'm pissed and thought we were a better team and should have won. But why this contrast of attitude between wins and losses? if we lose 1 game after winning 2,we're a doomed franchise again. If we win 2 in a row we're the next dynasty in the making
I meant improvement throughout this season the only way i see us win games is huge special team plays, other team errors, or one of our receivers makes an occasional huge play. The only reason Chad seems to be in their is hand off the ball or throw dink and dunk. But his deep balls are inconsistent and cant throw under pressure.
How can you say he's only in there to dink and dunk when before today, he was leading the league in yards per attempt
stop it, what did you expect? Chad had a bad game. He's been superb this season considering everything he's done, and has proven beyond a doubt he's fully capable of leading a team to a higher level. This is a culture change, a process that will take time. We have talent. I came into this season with lowered expectations, so I'm happy at this point being 4-4. We're not an elite team as constructed, and won't be for awhile, so why stress?
All i know is the jets still have a lot of holes and Mangini better not have the stupid Belecheck approach in free agency and not get any free agents.
Damn nothing gets past you... I guess when you're transitioning to a new defense with a new head coach and new defensive coordinator we should expect the 05' Steelers. What is Mangini doing!? He should be 8-0!
