Well....we're waiting. We've had to play by a different rule book for 37 years but it's becoming too blatant to ignore. It's not about something going our way for once, it's to the point where it gets so BLATANT (the Baker play.......CAN YOU AT LEAST REVIEW IT?) that this cannot be ignored anymore. and how about that apology for Shula soaking the field down in 82?
we'll never get one. we're not the Steelers,Colts,Giants or any othe rteam that they give a shit enough about to call fair games.
The worst thing about it was Solomon Wilcots all the while being his usual idiotic self saying, "Well, his mometum DOES look like it was shifting to the right."
That play isn't supposed to be reviewed, it's a force out. Maybe you want the rule changed. The Colts game was worse, the Colts were able to challange a down by contact and get the ball somehow, at least we didn't get cheated as badly as the Broncos did.
They hate us. Maybe they're still upset that as AFL representatives we put the original NFL to shame in the 69 Superbowl.
I hate when Guys make shit up as they Go and stick with it just so they don't sound like an ass. Afterwards he was side stepping and saying we are "Splitting Hairs". WTF IS THAT!? He's a Dumb Dick. The Jacksonville game-Atrocious calls. Cleveland- More atrocities. The difference. 1 cost us the game. It's one thing to flat out get smacked it's another to have a ref decide the game.
Tell me, what was Soloman Wilcotts watching? I know CBS is down to there 5th string announcing crew, but did that lamebrain really think it was conclusive? And what was Ian Eagle doing cheerleading with him for the Browns? Honestly, we see one thing on the replay, and here is the color commentator telling us we saw something else. I can see him at Super Bowl 25....Norwoods kick is good! Bills Win Final score at Super Bowl III, Colts 16 Jets 7 The ball is dropped by Franco Harris...no that's not him running down the sidelines...Raiders win Montana overthrows Clark! Soloman Wilcotts, proving that affirmative action only affirms his stupidity. He should be fired as well.
chad has to be the happiest guy in the world about this outcome. now all week we'll be focused on the horrible call rather then the terrible terrible game that chad played.
He sounded like a freaking idiot the whole game. You're right; one of those calls cost us a game. It also might cost us a season.
2 horrible calls: The punt. (it was clearly touched for two reasons. (1) The ball took a weird spin right after it went through his hands, and (2) the returner sprinted after the ball; why would he if he didnt touch it?) The last play (clearly would have landed with both feet in bounds if he didnt get hit and forced out)
You're right it is not. But, what could have happened is that they could have went on the side of caution, saying it was a force out. Thereby allowing the Browns to challenge it was a TD, which they could have. And allowing them to get a second look.
Yeah we lost primarily because after the first drive the Jet's offense sucked until the 4th quarter. Our defense was not playing all that well but the Jets kept giving the ball back to the Browns.
I would LOOOOOOOOVE to hear Mike Carey try and defend his boys...One guy says incomplete, another ref runs up and says he was forced out... We're waiting Mr. Carey, I wanna hear this.
we didnt tie the game b/c of an awful call. The jets didnt play well but they played well enough to tie. Somewhere Bernie Kosar was smiling and Mark Gastineau felt a disturbance in the force.
