He should be dead, but he won't be.

So when he went from screaming to lying his head back in what could only be interpreted as dying, what really happened is that as the zombies tore apart the asshole on top of him one zombie actually slipped his hand through and was inadvertently giving Glenn a hand job. What seemed like Glenn dying is actually Glenn just having his first zombie sexual experience.

Now that's a direction i would be okay watching the show go in. Glenn is alive but now is only sexually attracted to zombies. Kill'em! Only after I get my groove on with that sweet piece of rotting ass!

Although not my first choice of participants, a good lezy scene would have spiced up the last couple of episodes.

My wife always makes fun of me for talking about the Walking Dead on a Jets forum. How do I tell her the conversation has transition to necrophilia porn?

I don't think you realize the amazing personality of this character Kirkman created.

And they changed the Governor on the show...He was a complete psycho in the comics. Like a mad-man...They gave some humanity and made the Governor different on the show for the most part. That Andrea-Governor shit never happened.

Here is a safe image of a comic panel that is great about Negan's dialogue/personality...

I guess that was a climactic moment in the comic or something, but it doesn't convince me that the TWD writers won't take a character that a lot of people liked and turn him into a boring piece of shit just like they did with the governor.

Its the character every freaking time. He always has something to say that appeals to people. But yes, what you see in comics does not resonate on TV. The tv guys are already changing so much.

Exactly. Dude that killed himself fell first. Glenn can't be underneath.

Negan was a fine character, but he was over the top in the comics. And he literally can't go a scene without saying "fuck" several times. Kirkman tried to outdo the comic Governor with Negan and did not really succeed in my opinion. That doesn't mean he is a bad character, and the storyline was certainly interesting, but I'm not sold that Negan will translate to an awesome TV character. JDM is good though.

To be technical, if someone shot themself in the head they would just crumple over; the legs just go out immediately. He wouldn't have ever fallen into Glenn so the concept of that scene is nonsensical, so his body subsequently covering Glenn wouldn't be anymore ridiculous or nonsensical than what put them in that position to begin with.

The scene were the old lady was stabbing a zombie with a bottle, I thought that was going to be a delusion and turn out to be her drunk son.

Curious to see how Jesus and Negan translate to the TV show.

So far, the only character that's in the comics that's also good on the show has been Michonne and Rick.

Tyreese was among the best characters in the comics, one of the worst in the show. The Governor was great in the comics, not as good on tv. Abraham wasn't one of my favorites really in both, but he still was better in the comics than on the tv show. Morgan also is coming off not as good in the TV show as the comics, although I'd put him 3rd behind Michonne and Rick.

You and JetBlue didn't like the Gov? I liked some of that character. I thought he was quite Machiavellian in certain ways, but the TWD writers are just not quite deft enough to handle the nuances needed to bring these characters into their full dimensions. You wanna know what show really did that? Deadwood? Ever watch that baby? OMFG!!! If you haven't you have a standing invitation to stop by and watch all three seasons right the fuck now. In fact, all of you! :)

For me TWD excels when it is discussing an overarching concept. For example, the first season has an entire subtext or theme about what rights a person has to choose when to live or die, under what circumstances, and so on. It was interesting how they wove that story into a zombie show. This season seems to be exploring the concept about the preciousness of life. Is all life precious? If so, then what about when one living thing threatens another? You're presented with a paradox, right? If I threaten you, and both of our lives are precious, then you either risk that I kill you or you have to kill me. Either way, you risk undermining the very concept that you're seeking to uphold.

A semi-slow but not terrible episode.

Non-spoiler but people think dude hanging out with Daryl was Dwight (from comics), which makes some sense.

People also seem to think that was Glen on the walkie talkie, so Daryl/Abraham/Sasha to the rescue.

Anyone watch Into the Badlands? I can't stay up that late on a worknight (well, I can, I just don't want to). I may watch it online if it gets good reviews. Lord knows AMC has been advertising it enough.

I fully believe it's glen on the walkie and into the badlands was hyper violent. i was shocked it was on tv. Not terrible if you are into karate flicks.

Definitely Glenn on the walkie talkie. I thought the episode sucked. Was that the group who is going to be introduced for next season with Negan????

Rick also noticed the blood going thru the iron sidings off Alexandria (that was in the preview for next season)
