yep, the only other option. gun to your head, which one would u whine about more? I'll give you this.....you are consistent and never forget a muffed kick.
......and the Heidi game. Trivia: name the Oakland Raider who took the fumbled kickoff and scored? (click and drag)---> Preston Ridlehuber
No, he didn't. Go look it up. This was a load of horse shit that got started and has been propagated, but simply isn't true.
he's soft. point blank. That has a ton to do with football tbh. It's almost hard to even value anything else you could potentially do when your just straight up soft. Thats any sport TBH
I do not recall bringing him in to by an all star KR. I heard he was a good gunner but I'm not sure if they even let him play to that. I understand Stephen Hill had left some a little quick to pull the trigger on young wr's that struggle but I think its crazy to drop him before he has the chance to hone his craft in the NFL. Emotional loss as this may be, as terrible a play as that may be, it is truly moronic to cut someone that young this early. He has potential, it was why we brought him here, now as fans all we can do is HOPE he turns the corner and converts talent to production.
Jets fans are the dumbest in the NFL, I swear. ZOMG rookie made a boo boo, CUT HIS ASS RIGHT NOW !!!1!11!!! Thats a fucking stupid opinion, sorry to say. You don't cut a rookie for one mistake, you make him learn from it.
Thats right. You don't cut a rookie for one mistake, you make him learn from it... But Jets fans shouldn't accept poor decisions and stupid play. You think the Pats would allow the kid to take the field after that performance? Not a chance.
Mark my words: He will face absolutely no repercussions for his game-blowing blunder whatsoever. That's not the Jets way. Meanwhile, under any sane football operation, he would be cut TODAY!
Actually, no SANE football operation cuts their second round pick a few games into his career. Go away clown.
He didn't cost us the game, the game was handed to the Jets on a silver platter, after the botched punt and the piss poor play calling and execution cost us the game, Jesus give it up.
Last year everyone complained about Calvin Pryor and now we're missing him badly. You guys need to have patience with rookies. Devin didn't have any preseason and has barely played this season. I think the time to truly judge him will be next season. Pryor is turning into a solid player and I'm hopeful Smith will as well.
Of course not. That would be like banning you every time you have a ludicrous immature meltdown about a professional athlete.
Thanks for that info. It really didn't matter to me how many returns he had in college in forming my opinion. When you do something in the pros for the first time, there's always added pressure, not to mention the pressure the athlete puts on himself. Nothing against Smith, I think he'll be a good player. 85% of success at WR depends on the QB. If Manning, Brady or Brees was throwing to this guy, they'd be measuring him for a pro-bowl uniform.
