There are some pretty petty individuals on this board. How are you fuckers laughing and celebrating that someone got his jaw broke from a piece of shit head case?

Had Geno started and done as shitty as you all were hoping for he would have been benched. Some sorry souls in this thread.

"Ik da real mvp" hah, pathetic.

First off, Bowles is two classy to acknowledge this BS move. Let's move on.
Rex is demonstrating his pea brain acumen as a proffessional and as a wanna be HC. IK is a dumb fuck soon to be out of a job. Making him a captain is an insult to his own team and to the NFL, but is also a glaring statement to the stupidity of his leadership.
Jet fans should boo the living fuck out of both of them. They should sell clown masks of IK and Rex at the stadium.

+1 this board is over the top at times and hard to come back it's why I disappear for months at a time. the cheering Geno getting his jaw broke by some man-child with anger issues is bad enough, but I read people telling posters to kill themselves, wishing cancer on people and it's like dafuq? Really?

    Well said.
Some of these hateful jet fans could do the whole fan base a favor a go root for some other team...like Buffalo. Oh wait, but who the fuck would want them?

The NFL as a whole is increasingly a grotesque emblem of our society: violent and brash and self-celebrating, not too mention disgustingly commercialized.

It exists, and indeed flourishes, because we don't turn away. We're all Rex. We're all guilty.

Classic Rex Ryan, always good for a headline followed by an embarrassing loss.
    We're bound to win now.

If Todd Bowles has any stones at all he'll send Geno Smith out for the coin toss.

No blame on Geno for the situation he put himself in?

I agree that nobody should've celebrated a guy getting hurt but Geno put himself in that position. Its well documented that it was a situation going into camp and was eventually going to get blown up if Geno didnt make things right.

To me he has nobody to blame but himself. If his poor play isnt the reason he's not a starter in the league right now , his 2 cent brain is.

Also like what Bart scott said on Sunday, Rex takes everything personally. Thursday is going to be his Superbowl....(w.e that means at this point).

where's that billboard joker when you need him? I'll bet he could arrange for a giant lottery check of 600 to be presented to ik.

I didn't say he deserves no blame, but he didn't deserve to get punched out in the locker room practically on the job. Who the fuck does that? A cop punching, catfished imbecile is who.

Anyway, with my post I was stating how disgusting it is to celebrate and laugh about something like that.

    I def agreed with that.

It should be known though that chances are if Geno was our starter from Week 1 we wouldn't be 5-3 right now and who knows if he would even still be the starter anyways.

So from a fan standpoint its worked out.

But when it comes to money , things happen no matter what kind of job atmosphere you're in. In fact I think a sports locker room is one of the most likely spots for something big to happen. Lookup Javaris Crittenton and Gilbert Arenas' altercation. Luckily it wasnt something like that.
