The equipment guy who handles Brady's balls was admittedly nick named 'The Deflater'. End story. Brady is a fucking lying cheating scum bad.

Been alot of drops since the ball got inflated to proper psi. Yeah, he called himself the deflator in a text from May 2014, in the middle of the offseason, 8 months before deflategate. Therefore he must have deflated a bag full of footballs 8 months later before the AFCC game, even though their psi measures were normal for the conditions. That's a slam dunk/end of story, apply for a job at the DA's office.
Look, when you look at their offense and see how well they've played. So far they're just a cut above the rest of the league. And what BB is getting out of a basically rag tag defense. Without any real stars. It's like one of the Jets Dbs said after we lost to them: it's all about practice, repetition and playing within their system. They know every situation and maximize the percentage chances of success. They get players who might not be stars but who can follow a game plan. It's no big discovery for us to know that Belichick is a superior coach. When he was with the Jets as DC even then players openly talked about how he gave us our best chance to win. And this guy was a non NFL player. So to get this level of respect from players isn't easy. The cheating no matter what some of what the nutcases on this board continually scream about (as if this proves they're good Jets fans) is not a major part of this. Deflategate was not a big deal most players in the NFL have basically said this. But it broke the rules and for that you have to pay. And they still haven't changed their culture. Except they have one trump card: the courts. The NFL is obviously too scared to confront them again. So they basically can get away with murder.
Well, when the guy on every team who's job it is to deflate the footballs for the QB calls himself 'The Deflater' I have to either assume he was talking about his own weight loss or he's a total fucking retarded NE employee who never made the connection between his self appointed nickname and cheating, or last, him and Tommy (who text messaged numerous times for 'some' reason) were, in fact, CHEATING. I'm torn between your guy being RETARDED and Tommy being a FUCKING CHEATING SCUMBAG.
What Brady and the union did was to challenge the authority of the league to discipline it's players. And they won based on legal technicalities not on innocence or guilt. Berman didn't rule on that. It's a dangerous precedent and basically any player disciplined can take them to court. And win.
This is an egregious statement. Belichick is good, but he has legitimate talent on defense this season.
They're good but not elite. He gave up his two starting cornerbacks which last season was a big issue here. And they give up points. The Bills scored on them and had a comeback. And our offense moved the ball on them.
I agree they aren't elite but they do have a few elite players. Chandler Jones is leading the league in sacks, Jamie Collins is one of the best OLB's in the league, McCourty is pretty damn good, Hightower is an elite run stopper.
Retarded is a possible explanation, this is a guy who only works on Sundays and only cause his father worked for NE years ago. His texts were pretty 4th grade level.
Edelman broke/sprained a finger in his hand and in that game had quite a few drops. Additionally, when you sort this by total drops, it's not surprising to see 2 Patriots on this list. They are a volume offense with a lot more touches than the average team. You would gain a lot more credibility if you looked as drop percentage by team. I have no idea what that will say (my guess is due to the Jet game it will show the Patriots near the top).
Those guys are very good but not elite. You underestimate Belichick. To me he's the key reason for your success. It's him over Brady even though the year Brady was out he didn't make the playoffs. But he still had a winning record with a mediocre Qb. And actually Belichick drafted and then developed Brady. In my opinion he could have won over the years with a different Qb. But without BB your team wouldn't have been this good.
Technically you're right, and that's why the league is appealing, cause they lost their ass in court and are way worse off legally than they were before Berman's ruling. But Berman also ruled that the entire process was fundamentally unfair by refusing to provide evidence or witnesses, and the reason they didn't provide evidence or witnesses during Brady's appeal is because it would have revealed that they had NO CASE whatsoever.
You can say that. But unless the NFL has 100% proof of a wrong doing and a smoking gun they aren't going to press charges. They got burned already on this. And it's almost impossible to do that because I'm sure these Kraft employees have a cover story no matter what they were doing. The league should not have to go through this to enact discipline. But now they're faced with being sued thanks to your team.
Actually it was in the players agreement with the NFL that the Commish had the powers to decide on discipline. They agreed to it. But anything can be challenged in court. The union was just trying to renege on their agreement. Which was best for the league. The NFL should not have to jump through hoops to discipline a player. Even if some of their policies and the process involved were not perfect.
