"Color Rush offers a new way for NFL teams to unify their fans and communities around a current or historic color that will come to life in the new Color Rush uniforms. A sampling of the uniforms will be featured in four games this season, beginning with Jets-Bills at MetLife Stadium on Nov. 12. The full lineup will be unveiled by all teams in 2016. Players' uniforms will be flooded with color as they are draped from jerseys to cleats in one of the team's current or historic colors. i know they league enforced that bullshit where teams MUST wear their modern day helmets...wonder if that applies to this game too..because that would be shitty looking. Also i guess thats why we don't bring back those titans jerseys.
if we are wearing the kelly green, then i want them to be the 80s-90s ones. i think these are a blend of our current uniform/logo with that color. im skeptical about this
at least from what I can see in the little preview picture it looks like the current white helmets with kelly green jersey. the helmet looks like the stripes will be a kelly green too but it appears to have the current logo too
"Draped from jersey to cleats" in kelly green? I have a really horrible feeling about this. On the upside, it might be like one of those green screen suits and could be really cool rewatching the game with interactive options to digitally swap out the players for something more interesting. Imagine beating the Bills, and then watching the cast of Pippin beat the Bills. Or, picture a pack of land sharks swarming on Tyrod Taylor. Great possibilities.
