If Glen is alive that's weak sauce. I wonder what's gonna happen with Rick. There were a ton of zombies coming out of the woods towards the RV.

I mean, I can PM you if you want, but I'm not posting potential spoilers from the comic book on here.

To people believing glenn is alive the dudes intestines were ripped out of him, he was clearly screaming in pain, the zombies were swarming around his dying body. that was an intense main character death. Kudos to the writers, Glenn failing one of his suicide missions was the only way he could go.

Many people keep telling me Glenn is still alive. I don't see how. Even if it was the other guy's guts, how is Glenn supposed to escape that Hell hole? No way. I know the show is not realistic, but that would be beyond pushing it.

If Glenn "survives" because he was hidden under one other person's body, this thread is proof that the writers were right: people ARE dumb enough to believe it.

I didn't really think he was dead without all the conspiracy stuff, but I don't see how he gets out of that one either. I mean, he is on the ground, under a dead body with over 100 zombies on top of him. I don't see how you get out of that one.

Although, if he is alive, the writers actually had some decent foreshadowing with Michonne's monologue about being covered in so much blood you don't know if it is your's or walker's or your friends.

Masturbation wound. Looks like he rubs one out lefty style.... pretty violent too. Hasn't he heard that your supposed to love yourself?

Seriously, I think he hurt his hand ripping the skull of a walker apart. I suspect it was a real shooting injury that was incorporated into the script. I need to go back and look at the scene again, but it just struck me as him being genuinely hurt.

I have a theory that is only mildly contrived.... Do you recall in the first season when they covered themselves in walker guts to hide in plain sight? I suspect the writers are going to try to sell the idea that between the walkers ripping Nicholas apart and some of them trampling over each other and getting squished all over Glenn, that he'll start to blend into the pack.

The only problem is that covering yourself with (recently) LIVING guts won't camouflage yourself any more than covering yourself in honey and sugar will ward off bees and ants. :p So I can only assume that a follow up scene will show the scrum for Nicholas's corpse leading to the walkers effectively crushing each other all over Glenn and effectively dousing him in long dead nastiness. Now THAT would camouflage him until the feeding frenzy is over and he could just walk away.

Whaddya think? Please tell me I'm right..... Glenn is one of my favorite characters. :(

EDIT: ugh...l spelling errors and stupid iPad fixes. Grrrrr.

Yeah, it's really not realistic to expect Glenn to make it out of that, but IMO all the information we have right now points to him making a return. From a narration perspective, it's illogical that they'd structure Glenn's death in such a way that it has so little effect on the other characters. Glenn is a major character, and for him to die in such an inglorious way, in such anticlimactic fashion, with noone to witness it, is unrealistic. There'd be no consequence or payload resulting from his death. In effect, the group would never know if he was dead or simply MIA, and the ambiguity surrounding Glenn's death would dilute the narrative IMO.

Honestly, Glenn was one of my favorite characters. And although it was upsetting to see yesterday's episode, I got over it pretty quickly. If this were a clean break, it would have made me freel much more uneasy. I don't know how they plan to "bring him back", but I'd be surprised if that was actually his last living moment on the show.

This is the only way he is alive. Michonnes crew saw them and create a loud distraction "just" in time that the hord mistakes Glenn for one of their own as they devour Nicholas. My guess is he's a goner and it gets confirmed in 2 weeks (gosh darn single character episodes) vis zombie glenn or his/herschels watch popping up somewhere. I love the fact his death was so insignificant and played down. I believe now more then ever that no character on this show is above dieing at any moment. The only way i see these conspiracy theories being true is the trade off that Rick in the camper is a goner with a few thousand walkers coming out of the woods . That would be one major fucking switcharoo.

    Too much of a gimmick.

He can't come back alive in any circumstance.

On The Talking Dead the writers sent in a note to be read on air that you will see "some portion" of Glenn again to bring closure to what we just saw, either in a flashback or in some other way--leaving the impression that he's dead and he'll either be a walker or his body or one of his possessions will show up or flashback (or maybe in a dream by Maggie).
