Proved it big time today. Game would have been completely different had Ivory been healthy and himself.

You can't every rely on Ivory though. The guy is very injury prone. Always has been and always will be. That's why we got him for cheap

That's the only thing that's worrisome.

Seems like this injury was nagging him all week. Just didn't know it was this serious

The jets need a CJ Spiller type back to complement Ivory, someone that can still make a difference when he goes down. I'm not worried, I think the jets will retool in the offseason and fill the holes we have this year.

He's also unbelievably prone to soft tissue injuries. I hope Ridley is good.

He is the engine on offense. Everything is much tougher sledding when he is limited and/or can't get going. That said, hate to do it but I have to - give the Pats front 7 credit, there weren't many holes and they had guys in the backfield often.

Ivory got hurt the within the first three seconds of his first play. What a disappointment.

Bad news is this team needs to prepare for life without Ivory. He already missed a game this year, was limited in this one (both games we lost), and it's more than likely that he'll face more injuries as the year progresses. He's Marshawn Lynch without the durability.

I actually enjoyed what Ivory did today. He played hurt and still got stronger as the game went on. We really do need to find a back up for him though...it is unrealistic, with his style of play, that he'll last.

    Coulda Woulda Shoulda

I think Bowles and Gaily replan a new strategy for Brady for round two later in the Swamp

We need a better TE for sure.

I liked how we threw the ball to Bohanon. Smith better start doing something that tewlls me he is a better player

He a free agent at the end of this year I believe...... I love the guy but if we sign him we need too protect him we by drafting a good Gio Bernard type of back to take some pressure off of him......

Actually it's worth highlighting. What's the common thread between our two losses this year ...Ivory wasn't 100 percent
