You're a Steelers fan. We won't get into the rampant illegal steroid use your teams had when winning SBs in the 70s. Or being stripped of a draft pick for cheating on the salary cap. Or that Bill Cowher admitted to stealing signals of opposing teams. So I laugh at you when you are so butthurt at the Patriots and use asterisks. And no, the winning percentage against the AFC East has no bearing. They've been as good or better against the rest of the league.
I'm cautiously optimistic about tomorrow's game. Their depleted o-line and questionable performance @Indy has me hopeful.
I actually think things are falling the Jets way for this game. The Patriots is a mess right now with practice squad guys taking over for starter and those guys questionable. Some of our best D players like Hightower and Sheard may not play either. Normally the Patriots are great at patching things together but if there's a game where the Jets can take a game at Foxboro, this could be it. Still think the duo of Brady and Belichick can come up with something but it's going to be tough.
It will be one of the games that we want to win the most. We can beat them, but if we come out flat we are toast. Go Jet's!
