I wouldn't venture to say second, I think the Bengals are a slightly better version of the Jets. Same core principles, Bengals a little better. I do think, though, that Denver is overrated and they'll come back to earth when those pick 6 barrages stop. Manning is holding them back in the way we thought Fitz would hold us back. Pats, Bengals, Jets, Broncos, Steelers, Colts.
I think everyone is waiting to see how Manning fairs once the elements become a factor. His ball these days has the look of a dead duck. Hillman finally found out how to run the ball though. So maybe, just maybe, Manning will be able to operate under cold weather conditions....winter is coming.
I can't see his arm improving as the year goes on. It has deteriorated as the weather turned for the last couple seasons.
Neither can I....but if Denver finds a running game...Manning is more than capable to manage the offense, while Denver's dangerous defense wins/keeps the team in top tier. Without a running game Denver is dead in December.
I would love to get the Broncos round 1. Something like us as the 6 seed and them as the 3 seed. I think that'd be a pretty comfortable win.
Marshall won't be taken away....... They don't have anyone who is good enough to cover him...... I hope there dumb enough to put Butler on him 1 on 1......
its just another game. go out beat the team you are playing against hope to not have any major injuries and move on to next week.
God, I hope the Pats are thinking about the Butt Fumble when they hit the field on Sunday. If they're doing that we're going to smoke them.
They take away the opposing team's best weapon way more often than not. Most of the time on Sunday the Patriots will play a 2-deep shell with a safety shading towards Marshall's side of the field. They will dare Fitzpatrick to beat them deep.
I'm pretty sure they know what's coming. They fully understand that this isn't the clownshow that it was under Rex Ryan. With the numbers the defense has put up to this point, the Jets will have the Patriots' full attention.
So far, this is shaping up as quite a contest. Especially since the circus moved on. This will be our measuring stick as far as where we are. As the saying goes, to be the best, you have to beat the best. May the best team win on Sunday!
I want to bear them senseless but I also want it to me a smart game. No INTs, no turnovers, manage the play clock effectively.....l I want to see Bowles match wits with Satan, I mean BB.
Lets not forget... minimal penalties. Can't give TB free yardage and can't take yardage away from Fitz. Penalties do both.
