Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed the show last week. I'm pretty sure they'll have the D'Brickashaw Ferguson feature we did up on the website before too long for those of you who missed it and want to check it out. Here's what you'll see on this week's show: 1) A recap of the Jets/Lions game with analysis from Coach Mangini and commentary from the players 2) A look at the importance of chemistry and how it translates on the field 3) A Dewayne Robertson feature 4) Great Moment in Jets' History - Jets @ Browns from 1991 5) A preview of what to expect from the Browns The show will air on Sunday at 11:30 on WCBS and SNY.
point 2 looks interesting. It's a subject everyone talks about, but few people talk to the players about; I hope that's the tack you take. I'm also always interested in anything about DRob - he polarizes the fanbase like few other Jet players. Needless to say, I'll be watching.
That's one thing I miss about being up there...Everyday when I was up their for the 5 days the TV was on either SNY or YES... I must of watched "1st and Goal" with Mike Tannenbaum 6 times.
Glad to have you watching. I hope you guys have enjoyed the shows we've done. I really think the D-Rob piece will surprise most Jet fans. It definitely shows a side of him that few people are aware of.
During the Dwayne feature- does he reflect on the "Can't nobody block me" comment? I'm waiting for you to showcase the next Jets player to refer to himself in the 3rd person, ala Ty Law
Do you think you can get a copy of the show to Petrozza or one of the Mods to host, so that those of us out of state can see the show? Clearly to be given after it airs of course...
Unfortunately we can't do that. There are a lot of licenses involved (NFL Films, ESPN Radio, CBS, etc.) which greatly complicate any other type of publication.
Jets-Browns '91 we held on for a 17-14 win at Cleveland Stadium. I remember Eric metcalf on a KO thinking he was in the EZ and downing the ball at the Cle 2. We had a nice lead and were on the verge of blowing it when hasty recovered a fumble and we held on for the 17-14 win.
That was my first Jets game live. I was getting a little nervous towards the end, but it all turned out good.
