Houston could be 100% healthy and I'd still not get excited.

I guess it's a good idea to make sure he's fully 100% healthy before putting him back on the field. Besides, even if he did come back, he'd only be the 3rd stringer anyway. Though, I hope by season's end, he will have supplanted Barlow's spot. Houston runs with alot more power, and I think it'd be a better pair to lil Leon's speed.

Why not? He's a great change of pace back for washington. Much better at the role than barlow, except when near the goaline.

Glad he will be back soon. I'm happy to see they are just waiting until after the BYE Week to bring him back.

I figured they would do this and it's the right call, we probably won't need him against Cleveland and now he gets two weeks rest for NE.....

I too am looking foward to a steady combination of Washington and Houston.....

When he returns, bench barlow and watch leon and cedric run wild, I can't wait to see this combo.

It's smart to sit him out, an extra 2 weeks to recover.

I don't understand what is so bad about Barlow. He's been a solid addition to the team. He gets tough yards, as evident to his 5 TDs and keeps moving after initial contact...

Some of you make him out to be BJ Askew as a RB and Cedric Houston is Corey Dillon.

Cedric Houston is better than Barlow. He breaks tackles better and has more speed.

Same here. I think the Washington/Barlow combo is success waiting to happen. Houston is not a great blocker. I don't see why everyone is so excited about his return. I mean, I could understand it before Washington broke out, but come on, what has he done to prove he's worthy of the job?

Barlow is getting better game by game and is a 1000 yard rusher. Barlow Blocks better and wears down Ds too. Houstons' game is different as is Washington. Barlow gives us another option and I like the idea of RBcomm when none of our backs are standout.

Drastically overrated, and in my opinion can't carry Barlow's jock. You guys all forget.. Barlow had to learn this entire offense in 1 week. That's not easy to do, and he's finally just now getting comfortable. If you notice, he's running much more effectively.

Forgive me for not overrating his performance against INDY of all people.

Hes inconsistant with lowering his shoulder and often cannot break any tackles.

If anything it will be nice to have him back for the crucial game against the Patriots.

whats to get excited about?? Houston is ok. I'd be freaking if Leon was hurt, because he's the real deal.

Yeah, people make it sound like Houston is the savior of the RB position for us. The guy looked OKAY in garbage time when we were a four win team. If Houston is great, then Bolly is a star waiting to shine.

Barlow is ten times the RB Houston is. Leon is talented, but wouldn't be nearly as good without Barlow's big change of pace, and Chad's great play.

None of our RBs are superstars, but I think Barlow and Leon at least bring us the right mix to open Ds for our passing game. Houston has yet to show anything. It took him what, four weeks to see playing time? Then he gets hurt right away. Yeah, he excites me...
