Skrine's pass rush skills are uncanny for a DB.

His speed and bend when going after QB's is spectacular. Bowles and Co. to me had been extremely impressive in the way they've used Skrine in this manner and how effective it is. I'd love to see stats on the downs when he goes after the QB

He played really well today and showed why we went after him in free agency.

It shows that our front office really know what they are doing and I have more confidence in the Jets future than I have had for years!

He is just a very good football player. He tackles well, covers well, consistently makes good decisions, and perhaps most importantly for a defensive back, plays aggressively and confidently.

I don't think I've ever seen a nickel corner account for an entire 3-and-out of the opposing offense before, that was great.

    He has phenomenal closing speed.

Also that last open field tackle was decisive after he broke on the receiver.

Liked him last year as a Brown (living in Columbus I saw a lot of him) loved the signing.

The Jets finally got a Skrine game. /rimshot

super expensive for a nickel corner but he's proving to be worth every penny.

we may have gotten an underrated steal.

Very solid player. Very good signing.

Fingers crossed that this regime is able to identify and lock up talent via FA and draft. So far, so good.

Skrine SPRINTS to the QB! Got so tired watching Bryan Thomas barely "jog" while trying to get around the edge and never even get near the QB.

Take it as a judgement of a 1st quarter of the season grade...Assess with grades at the end of the season.

How can you give Devin Smith a B-? That's a very generous grade for barely playing. Nonetheless I am ecstatic with howSkrine has been playing. I screamed my face off when he got that penalty vs Indy on that opening drive but since then he has been terrific

He's showing us elite change-of-direction skills, above average coverage, superb speed, excellent discipline in staying with his assignments, and pass rush skills more associated with OLB's. So far he's been my favorite signing of the offseason. Complete revelation for this Defense and this team.

True, but in today's NFL, a nickel back might as well be considered a starter.

He's been excellent so far and another tremendous game today; really showing a diverse skill set too. And Marcus Williams keeps playing extremely well. Outstanding group right now
