Mac burning Verizon minutes as we speak I am sure..

How did Amaro hurt his shoulder ?? Did he act as stunt double on Game of Thrones??

Did he try to catch a Geno pass?

First really bad luck injury but we roll with the punches

For what it's worth he didn't have a single dropped pass all last year so if we have a QB now that can actually get the ball to him he will probably be fine. Obviously he is no Gronk.

Cumberland is the worst (starting)TE in the entire league.Losing Amaro is a tough one right now.....

i would actually prefer using enunwa as an h-back, with the other two guys being just blockers. 4 wides with a blocking te in an empty set.

The trick with blocking tightends is getting them involved early and often enough so that a team can't load of the box predicting that they are only in there on run plays. I imagine when teams see Kellen Davis check in, they will bring the safeties up immediately in assuming the run is coming. Run play action boots, throw them a couple short balls in the flats to make sure teams there is at least a chance that they can catch some balls.

If we're to have one unit be the weakest in the NFL I'd rather have it be TE than CB last year and WR the year before.

to me, ANYONE is better than Cumberland because I do not consider him a football player. He will not pay the price. He may catch a few seam passes this year, but he will break your heart with third down drops and his cowardly failure to take on LBs will make you want to scream

That depends upon how you define "comfortable." If you mean comfortable as in lying on a bed of nails in a room full of black mambas, funnel web and red back spiders, then yes. ;)

Hopefully Amaro can get healthy fast and take over.

I'm comfortable with Cumberland as my TE2, never my starting TE

Nick O'Leary was just cut from the Bills. TE caught like 13 TDs from Winston in FSU. I would love to bring that guy in for a workout. He's a TE in the mold of Jason Witten.

Either him or Fauria, we should look at.

Not very fast, not very big, doesn't have good hands and can't block, what's not to like?

Has Cumberland been in any of these games yet? I'm happy the TE position hasn't been a problem yet.

The Jets should definitely give O'Leary a look, why not bring him in for a work out? I was hoping Amaro would pose a threat this year, but his injury obviously derailed that notion. TE is definitely a position that could be upgraded although Gailey does not emphasize a TE

Has a TE seen a target these first 2 games? I know neither Cumby or K.Davis have a catch but really cant remember either ones name being called in regards of a pass going their way.

I knew Chan's offense didnt really use the TE but wow.

Kellen Davis was targeted once. And he's supposed to be the blocker of the two. Didn't take Chan too long to realize that there's no point in throwing the ball to Cumberland.
