We would have a gimmick player who would likely be cut during the season. He isn't worth Kerleys roster spot. Its an insult to Kerley
I really would like to see Marshall,Decker and Kerley in some 3 WR sets this Monday.....This could be a good trio.I wouldn't even consider trading Kerley until we see what Devin Smiths gonna be for us this season. Why rush it?And leave ourselves thin if Smith gets injured again or takes awile to adjust
Kerley had one offensive snap last week, I call that a gimmick player. If Idzik didn't extend him last year he would already be cut, so now they have to hope someone will trade for him. He might not even make it for a workout with Seattle interested in him too.
I'm not a huge fan of taking someone like Devin Smith or Kerley out of play in order to put in this guy. However, it's just a workout and due diligence.
That probably won't happen as long as Owusu is playing as good as he is, he is the third receiver right now, at least until Smith is back.
Yea he's nothing special but he can be productive if we use him right,he is completley useless at KR btw
Workout warrior! @MaryKayCabot Former #Browns receiver Terrelle Pryor turned in a 4.2 and a 4.3 in the 40 in #Jets workout today, source tells http://cleveland.com.
Does he have hands? If he can catch kicks, run over dudes at lightspeed I'd be all for it. I like our receiver set up. Especially when we go spread and throw Powell out wide. I don't want that potentially taken out.
4.2 and 4.3 40 is attractive, but why did the Pats and Browns pass up on him. I still think he's a beast made for the red zone.
We passed on Corey Washington... maybe because we liked Pryor? Still would be a weird signing IMO but with Decker out, we need some size so I could see it short-term.
Might as well take a flyer on this guy. Owusu has proven that he's made of glass and cannot stick to the roster for an entire season. Smith should be back finally, Kerley can be moved up. If he can run the route tree, pick the guy up. It's not even guaranteed money. That is...unless he's awful at WR.
