Great interview going on! Cliffs: - Loves the fans. Loves the electricity from Jets fans. - Really enjoying his time here and is having a lot of fun. - Thought the defense was awesome but offense "stunk it up." Said it's awesome when you stunk it up and came out disappointed but still beat Indy at home. - Said the locker room is full of guys with no ego and are just hungry. - Thanked management for putting together a great team filled with the perfect mix of youth and veteran leadership. - Said many guys in the locker room have no idea who is in our division and are just hungry to make some noise and make a difference and win. - Brought up ESPN guys praising Vontae Davis, "you guys act like he's the next Darrelle Revis, where was the talk about me?" haha - Steve Young to Marshall, "this is the happiest I've ever seen you" Guy really seems like a class act man. Well spoken and seems to really be enjoying his time here.
I have alwys respected him and liked him. He is consistent and obvsly can play the gm. Crzy that ppl call him a problem starter nooo hes not...hes what we call a person who keeps it real tells it how it is and isnt fake. They want to call him unstable or he has a mental issue. Nope its called calling a square a square. If he thinks the team is playing like shyt he will def tell you. I never saw what was wrong with that but its the world we live in sadly.
He also called those haters on ESPN out about them talking up Vontae Davis a shutdown corner lol. He said he's no Darrelle Revis! Lol
I like him but take what he says with a grain of salt. He's trying to get paid millions after football as an analyst so he's going to be super careful about what he says and how he says it.
Brandon Marshall has such a big career in TV after his NFL career. He will be a broadcaster on CBS replacing Bart Scott or whoever else there...Unless one of these other networks goes after him. A natural at this
J. Cole said it best "He played the Corner like Revis, he shoulda had better defense" Only man who can contain Marshall is on our team.
