You seriously, HONESTLY don't care about the power rankings? You realize that many casual fans form their opinions of a team based on the power rankings, do you not?

The only poll that means anything is the one in February.

to be fair, preaseason nfl rankings are as tough as it gets. every year you have 4 or 5 teams go from abd to good and vice versa. and injuries are common and costly.

    that said, fuck espn

Still not significant, but way more so than an ESPN intern drawing names from a hat, Football Outsiders simulations raised the Jets average win total to 9.4 with a 4% chance of winning the Super Bowl.

That's just what we want the Colts to think coming into Monday night.

I'll enjoy it while it lasts, there's always "Jets just need to win out" November on the horizon.

I know some of you love ESPN and can't get enough of it. :p

But this week, 4 of their staff picked Jets to win against Colts. Not too shabby. :)

It doesn't matter what they think, after last week they will be ready and they are playing at home in front of a Monday night national audience...whoa is us.

    So you're saying there's a chance?

Power rankings were nice when you had the 1 PM game, the 4PM game , and SNF and the only other games you could catch were the in game breaks or halftime highlights. Now that we have that ability to watch more games and more of non national tv games allow us to better judge teams without power rankings.
