For all of the talk they did about Pryor being "The Louisville Slugger" or whatever (God, Rex loved any player with a nickname), I felt like yesterday was the first game where Calvin lead up to his billing. 10 tackles (never a good thing for a safety, but anyway), a big hit to cause a fumble...he looked like an NFL starter. Not sure if that is the coaching from Bowles, him growing up a bit, or maybe just not being on an island with crazy blitzes, but, I was happy with him yesterday. First time I saw the guy and didn't worry about him being a bust. Still think he was a reach where we got him, but...he may yet come good. I was a bit afraid we'd release the guy after his rookie contract ended. Now, less so (though, it's only 1 game). PS> I remember the original hit...Dolphins still suck.
He's had a bunch of those. I remember last year in the preseason, he knocked like 2-3 balls loose against the Bengals. I also remember him having a similar hit this preseason. I think.
McCown won't finish the season taking hits like that one... I don't know wtf he was thinking, but that definetly was a Hard F'n Lesson.
He sold out on 3rd and goal, I respect that. If he held onto the ball it would have been a touchdown.
Seen Jan Michael Vincent lately? If they want to make McCown feel better, show some interview footage of Vincent.
You have no idea how sad I am that this thread isn't about an Airwolf reboot and you posted it on the wrong section. McCown went for it, gotta respect it.
They'd mess it up anyway. Have some fratboy like Channing Tatum sit in one of those 2.5 billion dollar stealth bombers. Nah.
Because he became a big fat alcoholic? Ernest Borgnine passed away by the way. That sucked more for me.
I don't mind the drinking part. Everything else however, dude is a complete mess. That picture ruined my childhood.
McCown is going to watch the game tape and he is never ever going to do something that stupid as long as he lives.
