A statistical analysis was done on all 512 games played last year by all teams. Oddly enough, both Fitzpatrick and Geno had 2 of the top 10 passing performances of the entire year. Also, the Bills defense was absolutely dominant. They had the #1 performance of the year, and 8 out of the top 100 best defensive performances of the entire. That was the most out of any team. Seattle was 2nd at 7 of the top 100. http://www.footballperspective.com/the-best-and-worst-passing-games-of-2014/
Any statistical analysis that says Geno Smith's week 8 performance was only the 18th worst outing by a QB for the season is invalid. 8 attempts. 5 yards. 3 INTs. Bench. If your analysis says there were 17 QB performances last year that were worse than that, you need to go play with some statisticians and leave the football prospective to others, footballperspective.
Matt Stafford throwing for nearly 250 yards and leading his team to a 4th quarter come-from-behind win on the road in Chicago is somehow rated worse than Geno's 2-8 for 5 yards and 3INT performance where he single-handedly blew the game and was benched.. hmmm
They'll do like we did. Look unstoppable one game, can't stop a cold the next. That's a Rex prepared team Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Will the Bills D be better with Rex? Or will the Bills D have more blown coverage's like he did game in and game out with the Jets over the course of his tenure?
My crystal ball says they will be invincible on 1st and 2nd down, and make the opposing offense look invincible on 3rd down. With a smattering of flags. .....and I'm still kind of a Rex supporter, for reasons the rational portion of my mind doesn't understand.
I have a hard time thinking Rex is worse than Schwartz (the Bills D coordinator last year). And the Bills defense was great last year. So I dunno.
I only had redzone last season so i didn't get to watch all the games start to finish, but i do remember feeling down right embarrassed every time the announcer said "Highlight from the Jets game". Every now and again I'd get to cheer, but the over all taste in my mouth was... well quite frankly 4/12. So them having Ryan doesn't exactly have me shaking in my boots, I actually hope he has to make some decisions on when to call time outs or other critical game management/coaching situations.
I agree, but I think they are calculating the defense and how good they are as well. If he had did this against the Saints, one of the worst defenses in the league - it would be #1 bar none. That BUF defense made Rodgers look like a mere mortal.
I think it may have been higher had he played the entire game. Most of the players on the list played the whole/majority of the game.
