I just want the best players in there and if thats JK I'm good. If its Owusu, Smith, Enunwa, Posey, Haakim, or whoever, I'm good. Just win baby.

The downside of competition is that pretty good players end up on the outside looking in sometimes.

If Kerley loses a roster spot to a better receiver it is well worth eating his salary to be rid of him.

He's worth keeping just to hear the announcers call him Carry.

Why would we get rid of him? He is breaking ankles left and right in training camp. If someone beats him out for the slot, then awesone our depth is fantastic. We save almost nothing getting rid of him. He has more talent than our crappy qb play has allowed to shine. The guy is like Cotchery 2.0 no way should we get rid of him.

Kerley's numbers have been going down. I didn't like Idzik's new contract for Kerley last year.

He's got to step it up if he wants to contribute.

He's average at best. Jets FO hoping Devin Smith is the real deal.

Right now, Kerley is our 3rd best receiver and it's not even really all that close.

    OMFG that is hilarious.

No, our third best WR is nursing some injured ribs.

A pack of guys that may or may not include Kerley is battling it out for fourth and fifth place.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Kerley or another WR shipped after 3rd game of the preseason to Carolina. By no means would anyone we have replace Benjamin, but they are super thin at WR and a couple of our WRs would be an instant upgrade over what they have.

I had the same thought and would consider based on

    1) what are we getting back
    2) what does our wr group behind Decker look like

This makes sense. See what they can get for him.
