The O'Fallon PD radar guns were incorrectly calibrated. He wasn't speeding. It was hot and humid that night. A famous physicist proved that weather makes the radar gun read speeds that are twice the actual speed of the car. He was only going 50, 60, and 70 Every player in the NFL races on the Interstate, resists arrest, and carries a loaded gun If Richardson denies it, I believe him If you aren't speeding, you aren't driving Where's the proof? Is it on tape? Where in the CBA does it say this type of activity should result in a suspension? Richardson was framed. Other teams put the O'Fallon PD up to this and they followed Richardson around until they caught him doing something Sheldon has a big heart and would never do anything to hurt anyone. The 12 year old was in the car as part of the "Make a Wish " foundation. He wanted to drag race with Richardson and his parents knew about it. The whole league is jealous. If Richardson was on another team, say the Jets, nobody would even know about this. This is really going to piss Richardson off and the whole league is in trouble now. Belichick is a genius and will turn this witch hunt into a positive Richardson wasn't speeding and he was just parked in the driveway Richardson wasn't driving the Bentley. He was sleeping in the car and the one of the other adults was speeding. They are pinning it on him because he is on the Pats Nobody was hurt. What's the big deal? Wait until Richardson lawyers up and fights any suspension. The NFL will look like idiots. The car didn't smell like pot. A neighbor was burning leaves Any player stopped by the the police in St. Louis would resist arrest. Would you voluntarily submit to an arrest in St. Louis ?
You forgot the most important.... It doesn't matter because he beat the competition by 7 car lengths anyway. He could've done it riding a bicycle.
There are massholes still coming out to support Hernandez!!! tells you all you need to know... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/27/aaron-hernandez-still-has-fans-in-new-england/
Sheldon was only a passenger. The 12 year old was actually the one racing, evading arrest, smoking weed, and packing a gun. After they pulled into the driveway, Sheldon switched places, because the kid didn't have a drivers license. Sheldon will take his punishment for the greater good (not letting a child get a bad start in life) and put his faith in the legal system.
Are we comparing him to Brady in a case where he may have generally been aware something happened or to Hernandez where I think most supported his immediate release after he was arrested? Sheldon put lives at risk and has repeatedly made stupid decisions, I think if he were a Pat Pats fans would hate him just like Jets fans do. I also hated when the Pats resigned Donte Stallworth and thought the Jets were stupid for signing Vick. I'm sure you all care. Weird thread.
