"And if he (Brady) wants to go to Federal Court, it will be at his (bardy) own peril..because remember if he (brady) goes to federal court then you are not talking about him lying to the NFL .. you are talking about him giving testimony, under oath... along with the ball boy, equipment manager and all of those other guys."

"Any questions could be asked .. and they (the NFL) don't think Tom Brady and the New England Patriots want that, at all." "So NFL is holding firm to the 4 game suspension and barring any last minute wiggle room or what have you.. that is the way it is going to be... Tom Brady will miss the first 4 games of the NFL season."

Brady will just lie under oath. who gives a fuck. The scumbag has bold faced lied to the league, media, his fans, the players union, probably to those in his organization. All thats left is lying under oath. He won't be the first person or even athlete to do so.

They'll coach him how to be vague enough and lie properly on the stand and even if the ball boys throw him under the bus it will be up to the court to decide in a "he said vs. he said" battle.

My prediction at this point is that will only be a small part of it anyway. The majority of the court battle won't have anything to do with deflating footballs it will be about Goodell & the players union and how Goodell makes up these suspensions in his head. Goodell will lose this eventually not because Brady isn't a cheating asshole but because he's a shithead in his own right over the years. It will drag out and Brady won't miss a game even though everyone will know he's guilty as shit

The distractions alone are welcome deterrent for New England. Let it be a long legal battle of he said, she said. Guessing the NFL has a decent legal team to counter Brady's. The Federal Court could also reveal some other dirty New England practices, secrets and tricks.

While the Pats are in court, the Jets should go back and try and get Leon Hess's $1 million from Belli.

NFL confirms that Brady ordered for his cell phone to be destroyed before meeting with Ted Wells, restricting them from seeing over 10,000 potential text messages.

Yeah, good luck in court boss. See you week 6.

All they have to do is subpoena the phone records to prove it

We'll see what Brady says under oath. Can't wait! But probably he'll end up playing this season because the trial will be in 2016. Unless he plays the season and then retires. His way of sticking it to everyone.

Why would the NFLPA even consider putting him on the stand? If he wasn't going to comply and turn over a cell phone, why go on the stand?

“On or shortly before March 6, the day that Tom Brady met with independent investigator Ted Wells and his colleagues, Brady directed that the cell phone he had used for the prior four months be destroyed,” the league statement read. “He did so even though he was aware that the investigators had requested access to text messages and other electronic information that had been stored on that phone. ‎During the four months that the cell phone was in use, Brady had exchanged nearly 10,000 text messages, none of which can now be retrieved from that device. The destruction of the cell phone was not disclosed until June 18, almost four months after the investigators had first sought electronic information from Brady.”

Couldn't the NFL subpoena his phone company for those text messages, or are they not trackable/storable?
