does anyone know exactly how abyz called him out? i couldnt find it and went through the entire green hornet returns for 1 day thread. there was a quote of his original post but not of abyz calling him out. i almost want to say i remember it and thought jeez abyz is a dick for calling him out like that. but i dont remember. those were dark days here on the board, alot of bs and idiocy flying around everywhere. lots of grown children. it was not a good time and i am really happy it has passed. junc has been absurd for a long long time. im kind of glad you removed him. he proved that he just cant function like a normal human being in posts.
Wow. And to think the last sentence in the last post I directed at him made me think I might get a timeout myself. It read "Have a nice life, asshole." Can I use that as a signature line?
junc the idiot. He had it coming. He felt no need to tame himself. Sorry to see him go but can't fault mods to ship his ass out of the board. Great football knowledge but too much hostility against anyone who doesn't share his views.

im assuming it wasnt 1 post just the plethora of posts in which he continued to do the same stuff he does. its been interesting over the past 5 or 6 years how his fan club deteriorated. how people began to see through his bs and realize there really wasnt much substance to alot of the stuff he said. he was once a pretty highly regarded poster on the site who would simply overpower folks. we will see guys coming back up out of the woodwork as time goes on and new guys will see new fresh, un tangented topics. you know reading that hornet thread really made me appreciate where this forum is at this point. its back to where it was in the beginning, a bunch of guys talking about football and being respectful in their arguments and disagreements. as a guy who started posting here when i was pretty young and a bit of an asshole this was the one place that i would say something stupid and get in trouble and actually care about it. petro didnt take any shit when he started this board and its just the way it was. and i am pretty glad that it is back being like that again. thanks mods you guys are doing good work!

Yeah and I've spoken to Brook on the phone several times--always from a different cell phone that he apparently throws out every few days and barely audible like he is at some call center in Istanbul and I swear the NSA has been tapping my phone since then. _
You've been around a long time.... I think I started in December 03 and you go back to August of 02. I was in my early 20's when I started posting here and now I'm closer to 40 than I am 30. Pretty scary. There are so few days that go by that I'm not on the site. I don't post as much as I used to but I am always around. Once the season starts up though I'll be posting a bit more. I think when the team is good it's easier to post more than it is when they suck. You can only say they suck so many times before you get tired. The team being good is also much better for board traffic and new posters. I'm also glad a lot of the newer posters aren't getting destroyed by a few douchebags who feel it is their duty to patrol the board with insults.
im even before that barry, I was here within the first month or so of the board. petro was out on espn boards promoting the site and I checked it out and have been here on and off ever since. there was a meltdown I believe in 02 that everything prior to then was lost. I want to say it was a server upgrade... there was probably a year or maybe longer that I really didn't even visit the site during the annoying times a few years ago. im not a great poster, but ive got great longevity.
