Both sides share the blame and it's still crazy how unprepared they were at Pittsburgh.

so frustrating how lifeless they came out in that 1st half. I have mentioned it many times but I was at that game and watching them come on the field they looked like they were coming out for a preseason game not the biggest game of most of their lives. It's a shame it took us a half to start playing, we were so close. Hopefully we'll see them finish the job some day.

Wow, yeah, that is surprising. His injury was worse than I certainly thought. He made it back tho. Very impressive.

    I don't get Revis's comment:

So did the dude suck or did he not? You either have a QB and he's solid or you don't have a QB.

I think he meant to say they didn't have an elite QB but I am sure he will explain and say the quote was out of context.

I hope Mark is the starter when we play the Eagles this year. You couldn't ask for a game w/ more story lines.

I hope he isn't but either way I just hope we win. we have never beaten the Eagles in a regular season game in our history.

Deep down you know you want to see that match-up. You would have no idea who to root for :D

I said it to someone else before, but I don't care much about this match-up - I would love to beat the Eagles, but I am more concerned w/ our conference [and overall of course] record at the end of the year.

Can you imagine if Sanchez was the starter and Tebow got brought in for a wildcat play? Metlife would explode from the decibel level of the booing.

No I don't, I want to see him start for Philly but sit out that game.

as long as I have been following this team we have always struggled in years we played the NFC East.

1987: 0-4 vs. NFC East(1 loss was replacement game), 6-9 overall
1993: 2-2 vs. NFC East, 8-8 and choked away playoff spot
    1996: 1-3 vs. NFC East, 1-15
    1999: 2-2 vs. NFC East, 8-8
    2003: 0-4, 6-10
    2007: 0-4, 4-12
    2011: 2-2, 8-8 choked away season

I want the Giants BAD, haven't beaten them since 1993
I want Philly, never beat them
    I want Dallas, bandwagon fans
I want Washington, was at FedEx for the '03 opener- hated them ever since.

obviously we need to win AFC games but a good record vs. the NFC East will help too.

    So you can't decide.

Anyways, if I had to pick ANY NFC East team to win against, absolutely, 100% it's the Giants. I really want the Jets to get that game. I think that would do a lot for this team. I would love to go at least 3 out of 4 with the NFC East, but again the AFC conference is more important - our conference record hasn't been good as of late.

Anyone know when this goes on sale? I see the cover dates it as 7/27, but I know the issues typically come out a few days earlier. The store I checked late this afternoon still had last week's.

Still painful to think about...that's when I started thinking that maybe Rex wasn't all he was cracked up to be.

I don't what our fanbase would hate more, sanchez having a good game against us or tebow pulling a 2012 Kaepernick on us . . .
