Let me start off saying that I never have burned the American Flag, and have ZERO desire to. I love America and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else in the world. With that said, I wouldn't want to live in a country where you couldn't burn the flag. People died so that you COULD burn the flag. Our constitution protects it. Why is this concept so foreign to people when I make that statement? Do you think that North Koreans would just love to say "North Korea, love it or leave it"? I saw a picture of a guy assaulting a flag burner on Facebook. Do you know who goes to jail? Not the flag burner. Discuss.
