Lol...again...very you bud. Is Babe Ruth a good player? Did you see him play?

You pick a guy that hit more Homers then most teams did in his era. Cute junc. Was Jim Brown a good running back?

Let me ask you this? My dad who seen him play agrees with me. So does that mean he doesn't know shit either?

it's much more than his #s.

to say Brady and QBs of today aren't tough is laughable. did I say Joe wasn't tough? of course he was, you need to be tough to play this game especially at QB.

yes, it's juncish. Brady is a p**sy, said by such internet tough guys that have probably never put on pads and played a pee wee game let alone an NFL game against the worlds best athletes.

    stick to weather

As much as I'd like to debate you on this Junc...I think you're pretty dead on.

Maybe the one thing that might alter your opinion a little bit...or at least tamp your willingness to express it so fervently, is if you had lived through the Namath years as a Jet fan.

    It was wonderful.

If I lived through it I am sure I would have a different perspective but I try to be as honest as I can be. People don't believe me but Ken O'Brien was my favorite player as a kid, growing up and learning and understanding the game better I realize he wasn't as good as I thought as a kid. I think had I lived through Joe as a kid I'd feel the same way but I don't know. I appreciate everything he did for the franchise and for the sport. I am not bashing him, I just don't think he made the Hall based on his playing career. You guys love him for many reasons and you should, I am not trying to get anyone to hate Joe or bash Joe. I am just stating my opinion, you guys can think it's wrong and disagree.

Lol. Junc. Of all people please...never accuse others of having Internet muscles. You are doing it again. Where did I ever say Brady is a pussy. If you do not know my sports background...then sssshhhhh. Please. I'm asking nicely this time. The QBs back then took a much greater.....MUCH greater beating back then. For all the emphasis on Joe's career, Joe's career was OVER after 1970....except a brief spurt here and there. So ssshhhh. You are out of your league here....again . Please....do not embarrass yourself again.

stick to weather please. this wasn't about saying who is tougher, it's about folks pretending that modern players aren't tough b/c of the new rules. if modern players could the way they did back then there would be deaths on the field.

Well who the f says he was the best ever? You had to live it. In the era...not via Google. Hall of fame blah blah...could care less...every team would have wanted him back then in a big game. Every other team wanted a Namath. He was a Jet. Period. His career was basically 4 years. Period. The rest was filler.

I agree that his on field career was not enough to get him in the Hall.

I wonder if Tom Brady's shenanigans keeps him out...at least for a year or two.

you are being honest and I appreciate that.

I doubt it, those that are in the game realize what a minor issue it is. if NE didn't have so many this would have blown over in minutes.

I often work with Pete Rose.

He didn't think it was that big a deal either.

Pete is delusional. I am fortunate to talk to many people in the NFL or that were in the NFL. what Brady did was not that big of a deal. he just should have admitted it and moved on.

I tend to consider Brady a pussy more because of how many times I've seen him whining to the refs when anyone gets within two time zones of hitting him. Not because I think he can't take a hit.
