I'm reading the latest headlines coming out of Buffalo and I'm LOL. A tiger doesn't change it's stripes. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...y-more-enthusiastic-about-taylor-than-cassel/ See Rex doesn't seem to like capable veteran QBs very much if you didn't know now you know. Why I have no frickin' idea. You can debate how capable Cassel is one thing is known he's more proven and done more in the league than Manuel and what's his name? When Rex was here he had no use for Clemens (in the system since 2006) or Tebow. Rex likes his starting QBs inexperienced, unproven and his backup QBs as useless and unthreatening to the starter as possible. LOL And ask yourselves this just how is the media getting all these juicy nuggets of information? BEEN THERE DONE THAT! It's June 30 I haven't seen one article about which way Bowles is leaning at QB the closest the media could get is Gailey opening his mouth but Bowles put out that fire quickly. I know nothing and I couldn't be happier about it it's like a breath of fresh air.
They're very likely to be better than the Jets this season. That's a very good defense he's inheriting. They'll get a good burst of enthusiasm from Rex. Might even last more than one season.
...and then they find out the real truth behind all of the smoke and mirrors, that he is a complete ass.
Cassel is a veteran QB. He's certainly not capable. He was barely capable on a stacked Pats team and has been overrated ever since. And all reports have him looking the worst out of the 3 Bills QB's..for whatever thats worth at this point. Still they are much more likely to start the season with Manuel but I can understand Rex pumping up the unknown with Taylor. Although he isnt likely to turn into much either. I think Rex just likes QB controversies and average play there so when his team wins it will be because of his defense.
