He's trying very hard to somehow make it look like NOT shadowing the best receivers is what the best cornerbacks do. I'm not exactly sure how that makes sense on any level. That's not how logic works @ Sherman. o_O

His logic is absolutely retarded. Case in point: asomgha or however you spell it. As soon as he left Oakland and started actually playing REAL man coverage, he was exposed and his career went to shit. Almost no doubt in my mind that Sherman would suffer a similar fate.

Two years ago he was all about talking about his stats and why he is the best, when he gets called out on why his stats are good he resorts to "we" and "us" because he knows Cro is right. That said, Cro probably should have kept his mouth shut but he's trying to get a media gig after retirement now so he's going to get his name in the news as much as he can

This guy is a clown. How can you be the best when you are covering DaVante Adams vs Green Bay in the playoffs? DAVANTE ADAMS OVER JORDY AND COBB?!? Baha. He blocked me on twitter because I would always tag him saying Revis was better.

Shutting down top WR >>> shutting down 1/2 the field.

i mean he was 29 when he went to philly. toward the back end of it, yes, but he still should have been playing at a higher level for the so called "best corner in the game" at the time.

My bad. He was 30 when he played his first season in Philly and had one quality season left in the tank.

Revis is pretty close to no longer being an elite player. He has about two seasons left in the tank at his level. Then he'll restructure or become a cap casualty.

i dont know what yall expect from sherman

last year, the pats would put revis on the #2 guy and doubled the top receiver ... that didnt make him any less of a cb

you do what your coaches tell you to do ... sherman happens to do his job extremely well, and on the best defense in the league

The guy is a jerkoff because he doesn't have to defend himself. But as usual he takes the low road. I have to say, I love Cro for saying it.

I think his point makes sense. He's playing to his strength. His strength is not that of Revis. So be it, he still excels at what he does, and his coaches let him do that.

its the whole "I'm the best... me me me me me myself me" that Sherman proclaims that gives him these criticisms. Nothing wrong with doing your job and doing it extremely well on the best defense in the league. Earl Thomas does that very thing for Seattle. The difference is he isn't outwardly saying things like he is the best in the game and he's better than everyone else. Thus he doesn't get the scrutiny Sherman gets... everyone just universally acknowledges he's an outstanding safety

thomas does, though ... hes just not as good at marketing himself as sherman is
and although sherman does proclaim to be the best, he is not me, me, me ... he continually gives props to the LOB and their defense as a whole

damn near every player at their level is arrogant as hell

i get that increased scrutiny comes with the boistressness, but no one knows how hed fare following a receiver around so he shouldnt be knocked for not doing it ... he cant go up to his coaches and tell them how to run the defense, especially one as successful as theirs
