I wont pretend to understand the ny media game that has to be played. In fact that's the first full francesa interview I've ever listened too. The thing that struck me was how mc cagnan knew it was a game that had to be played and he played it brilliantly imo. Simple stuff like continually feeding tanks ego when answering questions by starting with "as you well know mike" " you would already be aware mike" . He's saying look mike I know you know this stuff cause your someone who understands the game and francesa bought it hook line and sinker. While doing all that he gave relatively nothing away, when pushed about Geno he said that's Todds decision and francesa let it go whereas he would have hammered Idzik for it. All of a sudden a jets gm has francesa eating out of his hand and that was exemplified by his last comment "anything I can do for you Mike you just give me a ring". Mc Cagnan just bought himself two hassle free years from francesa
Maccagnan is from Hightstown NJ. It really wouldn't shock me his family has listened to Francesca and told Maccagnan what to expect with him.

He said what you would expect him to say. Basically said the Jets were supposed to win the game against the lowly Browns and not to get excited because it's only week 1. Then he went on to say that Da Jets awr going into a hawnetz nest next week. Da Colts awf a loss on Monday Night. He's always funny to listen to when da Jets win when he doesn't expect them to. I bet he will pick Da Colts in his picks this week.
The last time I ever listened to Francessa. NOT pass interference, asshole! Revis had every right to that real estate. Francessa totally exposed himself that day as not knowing WTF he was talking about.
He's right, though. Jet took care of business. Nothing to be mad about and nothing to get overly excited about. His tune on the Jets may change this season, he has a lot of respect for Bowles and Maccagnan.
His shows sucks now that Rex is out of town. He threw more shots at Rex today then he said anything bad about the Jets.
He can't really bash Bowles, because he is a Parcells disciple and the Tank loves him some Bill Parcells
Also Bowles seems like a really likeable guy in general. Rex has a douche factor to him that I guess rubs fatso the wrong way.
